Kate Is NOT A Handful, Allegedly
After her teary-eyed interview on the Today show on Monday, rumors circulated that Kate Gosselin was less than a gracious guest. Sources close to the show labeled her "one of the most unpleasant" guests the show had ever encountered and suggested that she was "swearing like a drunken sailor as she stormed out."
Well, Today is on the defensive now for the reality mom and issued this statement confronting and denying the rumors:
"These comments are completely and totally false and are certainly coming from bad sources. Kate Gosselin was a gracious guest on Today and anyone within a thousand feet of her at the show yesterday morning could tell you that. It is unfortunate that a newspaper would run these lies, which couldn't be further from the truth."
Yeah, we don't much believe the cursing bit, but we could believe she wasn't the nicest of guests.

I think she is a brave woman. She has done all she could do to provide for her children (Jon being one of them). I think she is probably a really good person. Look at her kids, they are great, which is usually a reflection of their mother.

The Chicago Sun Times - the publication who first wrote this story - has removed the story from it's website (page not found message). That kind of proves that they probably made the whole thing up.
I don't believe that for one second! I met her right before they announced the separation and she was as sweet as can be! She took the time to talk to each of us and took pictures even though the venue managers said no. Kate looks broken and sad in that picture even on the today show she looked like she was gunna cry from all the stress her dead beat husband has put on her. She's a wonderful person.

Personally, I feel sorry for Kate. I think she's gotten a really bad rap. I don't care if anybody agrees with me on this or not. As someone who has a husband like Jon, I can totally understand why she was grouchy all the time, and why it seemed like she was nagging constantly. Anyone who watched the show could see that Jon would just sort of stand around with his thumb up his ass unless Kate was there to tell him what to do. He was lazy and apathetic the vast majority of the time, and he always seemed to be moving in slow motion when it came time to do anything important. When you have children, a woman needs for her husband to be a partner, not an additional child. Unless you've been there, you have no idea how frustrating it is.

She has been making the interview circuit lately playing the victim. for anyone who has seen the show, she is very uptight and nasty. she treated Jon very poorly. i see the show and you look at the douchbag and see such emptiness. he looked very lonely. she ripped on him for everything. because she is a control freak. all her interviews she looks like she is about to snap at any moment. People wanted to see how they handled having 8 really young kids. That's what she was after when she decided to go on with the show. Unfortunately, everything got caught up and perverted. It turned into Jon and Kate Plus Drama… because that's what sells. TLC were not looking out for the best interest of this family. They were looking out for what made the best ratings. I feel for these children because something painful was dragged out into the public. Unfortunately, this is a reality because society today has become nothing but consumers. Kate isn't the one to let fame go to her head. She's still parenting. Jon is the one who is partying and trying to live a rock star lifestyle his kids afforded him. This tells me he's selfish because he didn't try to work things out with her. l'd get annoyed at the way he behaved as well. He didn't parent, he buddied the children. I saw the golfing episode and the kids were allowed to run around while HE golfed. They really didn't have that much fun. If you're going to hate on someone for taking care of her family b/c Jon couldn't afford it, then you should hate on every woman who had to spend time away from her family in order to take care of them.
