Well, he was one of the young guns that were big in the '50s along with Rock/Hunt/Tab/RJ, etc. as well as a major poster boy. Dated a string of beauties. Then starred in films such as Where The Boys Are, The Victors, Your Cheating Heart, The Fine Young Cannibals, and Evil Knievel. Had a big come back with Zorro the Gay Blade and Love At First Bite. Done Broadway, has a TV show in the '60s, guest starred on a lot of TV. Best of all, hes lived life as a bon vivant and does a lot of charity work for a number of good causes. He's been as much as Hollywood staple as many of those who have stars. Trust me, most people over 35 or have some knowledge of Hollywood films and celebrity will know George Hamilton.
People like this getting a star just ruins what the meaning originally behind the idea was. I love Chris Rock, but years back when he got his, I thought it was a bit too early for him & ever since the people that are getting them… It's incredible! The stars of the old time Hollywood flicks are rolling over in their graves!
