Thursday morning on the Today show, Ann Curry sat down with Brad Pitt to discuss his Make It Right housing project in New Orleans. It wasn't long before Ann brought up the T-shirt campaign for Brad to run for Mayor of the courageous city.
When she asked him if he would consider running, he happily replied: “Yeah, I’m running on the gay marriage, no religion, legalization and taxation of marijuana platform."
Awesome!
Though he says he has "no chance", we totally disagree! Do it! Do it now!

Really though all of this is common sense. Religion needs to be banned from influencing laws. Marijuana is definitely not worth sending someone to prison over. Yeah, the gay marriage and legalization thing is great, but good luck with the no religion, particularly because it would perpetuate a whole new form of discrimination. Plus, not all religion is bad, as they say, it's the 'misuse' of religion, no? ( I know, I know, what's the misuse, bla bla bla, none the less)
On a side note, there is no way in hell I would live in New Orleans. The chances of another hurricane are pretty much guaranteed, and then this whole scenario is going to be played out again. Not to be a cynic, or anything, but lets be practical.

Well Mayor Nagin of New Orleans let the city take a hit from a hurricane in an attempt to get federal monies and Governor Kathleen Blanco ordered the National Guard to shoot and kill the looters in New Orleans so any change in high office there would be an improvement.

NO-hate when people just say legalize pot. in New York, 3 weeks ago, a 'woman' packed her 2 kids, 3 nieces into a van drove from upstate to go home to Long Island. Tried. the last 1.7 miles the wrong way on the Taconic Pkwy. She, her daughter, her 3 nieces, and 3 other men were killed instantly. Her autopsy should TCH in her blood, smoked within the hour of the crash and 2X the legal blood alcohol. Sure, the booze is a large cause of the crash, but how much did the pot play into the crash? (her husband's lawyer is blaming ambesol on the crash, Ambesol!). Legalize it NO! It effects everyone differently. People drive when they shouldn't-now we would need testing, laws, limits, etc. Limits on drinking getting lower and lower and lower, now want to bring something new into the picture??? stupid
