Does anyone have $45 million lying around?!

We didn't think so!

Although production has halted due to massive budget constraints, Hello Entertainment, one of the producers of planned Broadway musical Spider-Man, Turn Off The Dark, claims that the show is not in danger of folding.

The company released the following statement:

"HELLO Entertainment is aware of the speculation about the future of Spider-Man on Broadway and is RE-CONFIRMING that the plan is to resume production shortly and preview on February 25th, 2010 at the Hilton Theatre when cash flow issues have been resolved."

We're pretty sure the whole nation is having a cash flow issue!

The production has not set a date to resume work.

Spin. Spin, Spidey!

If the spelling on the poster is, "BANCRUPTCY", it needs to be corrected. The correct spelling is 'BANKRUPTCY"
