We've got another remake for you: Poltergeist 2.0 is coming!

And, a date has been chosen!

On November 24, 2010, MGM will release it's remake of the Tobe Hooper's classic flick.

It could be really scary or it could be really crappy.

Which do U think it will be?

      If they do something creative with it and get a decent cast, it can be good. If they use a bunch of the new "talent" out there, and go the straight remake route, it'll blow.

      Really good I am sure. the original was great and I am sure this will be worth watching.
      This will make for great media stories. It will be interesting to see if there will be a curse for this round of Poltergeist. I'd be scared the act in this movie based on it's history.

      It could really go either way. It could be a great remake if done right. But usually remakes aren't as good as the original. I would be nervous though…the original was totally cursed with bad luck lol. Depending on the previews I would most likely see it.

      You know, most of these remakes i'm like'Eh, whatever..they are going to do what they are going to do" but this one actually, lamely enough, makes my heart hurt a little. I really feel like this WAS Heather O'Rourke's movie. When she died they put it on her Tombstone. She was only 12 or 13 when she died and was very proud of those three movies. I guess in a way I feel like it's almost slightly disrespectful to her memory to make a new one, but that's just my opinion and I know not everyone agrees, and that's just fine. Not like we can stop them from making it.

      The first one is such a great movie. I grew up in a California suburb, and our house (and hundreds of others) looked like the house in that movie, so for me it was a particularly scary film when I first saw it.
