The cast of Family Guy presented a live table-read of their controversial abortion episode at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences on Wednesday night. As of now, FOX has decided to not produce the episode because of its content.

I'm not for or against abortion. I'm all about personal health/well being. I don't see how the topic of abortion affects the mass. When was the last time an abortion came back and harmed the population? But, the people that are against abortion have inflicted harm and poisonous propaganda.

Family Guy is a comedy so naturally they are going to try and make things funny. However, all you people who are going 'abortion is not funny' or 'this is so wrong' and all that, I'm fairly certain that's the point. Abortion is not funny. Abortion is a serious matter that needs to be careful thought about before coming to a decision. I highly doubt Seth actually thinks abortion is no big deal and is like trying to decide what you want from a Chinese takeout place.

I think it's probably the funniest show i've ever seen, i can't watch 5 mins of a show w/out cracking up at least once! i think abortion is a personal choice, i've NEVER had one nor would I, i had a friend that is dead now, but a month before she died, she had just gotten her THIRD abortion, and at 25 yrs old, AND she already had 1 child! My problem w/ abortion is that MANY women abuse it,and use it as birth control…. reguardless, we all have the rt to our own opinions, i'm soooo tired of people being offended over things, lighten up already!

I'm pro-choice, but I do believe that there is not enough information about the mental aftermath of having abortion, yes it is taught in school that women can go through severe depression after having this abortion and whatever but this inormation should be mroe accessabke to anyone considering it. It is a womans right to decide after all. Especially if she can not handle a baby and knows it owuld not be brought up well.
It is the same with adoption the bond grows over time and it is veryu hard for a mother to give up a child like that.

They're not saying you arent fit to be a parent…the point is that if you haven't had a child yet and you are pro life (so obviously only god should have the choice to bring a child into the world) then right now having a child is not meant for you. Re: Brainiac – 1) Abortion to save your own life is a Red Herring, that situation makes up .001% of abortions (typically a result of a cancer dianosis during pregnancy that can't wait to be treated). Even then, it's not the PREGNANCY that's putting her life at risk, it's a disease where the treatment would likely making carring a healthy pregnancy impossible. Etopic pregnancy is another situation, but often it's not a viable embryo regardless. 2) Do your homework. Cases of a pregnancy being the direct cause of a fatal illness/syndrome, etc just DOESNT happen. 3) Last I checked, most babies are born without firearms…so what's your point? War is the result of two ADULTS making a conscious decision to do something which could lead to both their deaths…last I checked, aborted babies don't get an option to stay alive. I'm so sick of these prochoicers hiding behind "what if" situations that are so rare, they make up a fraction of one percent of cases. Do your homework, the "baby is gonna kill me" defense is pure-T bullshit.

Since it's just TV, why don't they do an episode where everyone piles into the family wagon, takes a little ride to the section 8 housing part of town, and systematically slaughters every black person within….would a 3 mile radius be enough? No questions, just two in the back of every head. Maybe weave in a joke about how their killing two birds with one stone; saving money and making sure none of "those little bastards" get to us first.
