    he did it for the fans that had paid! They paid for a gig which was cut short so he did something about it unlike a lot of singers who would just walk off and not care about the people who had paid.

    I once went to a Tori Amos concert where she completely lost it on a fan who got up to go the the bathroom during her set. She later claimed she saw the fan on her cell phone, but the fan said she was just getting up to use the can. Tori was all, "blah blah blah get out of my show blah blah blah" and she used the F word.

    I'm appalled by the people using the word "amazing" to describe him. He is not an amazing songwriter. He has a good stage aesthetic but he writes overly dramatic half cocked songs trying to rip Antony Hegarty and Tori… He'll never make it stateside though so I don't mind.

    So, I have actually been at this gig on Thursday - and it was one of the best concerts I've ever been to! Everyone was having such an amazing time - and so did he. PW is an outstanding songwriter and singer/performer. He might not be in the top charts, neither in Europe, nor in the UK, but the real musisc lovers know of him and appreciate him for what he's doing.

    As for the unlucky end….Before "Accident & emergency" he was told that there were only 4 more minutes left. Patrick then said that it has been ages since he last wore a watch and that for him 4 minutes means 2 songs :) So actually after "A&E" he was only gonna be doing one more song ("The magic position"), but they just cut the P/A of. Without any further announcement. Plus: It was only 10 to 10 PM, it was not even 10 o'clock. Most fans didn't get it, and so did Patrick. I really understand why he was freaking out, though he might have overreacted a tiny bit. But it only proves how much he didn't want to disappoint his fans. And that's just great!

    The real scandal was IMO that the c/o pop festival had hired Steve Strange (leadsinger of the 80s band "Visage" - you might now their hit "Fade to grey") as Patrick's support and he delivered really poorly. Almost fell off stage at times.

    So, in conclusion, I can only say once more that this gig was superb and Petrick's really talented and knows how to gain the crowd.

    Well, for a start he played in Koln, what your thinking of is a kind of perfumey thing, I don't know, maybe you've heard of it.
    Secondly, he had to go to Germany to play that gig and they cut him off half way through his final song. Knowing Patrick, he is not one to let his fans down, and you could tell that they wanted to hear more from him by all the cheering. He is going to be stressed really, give him a break.
    Oh and you have no right to call anyone a diva. Have you not learnt that people get a bit pissed when you talk about people this way when they don't deserve it? Right from the start you made him out to be a prick and not a lot of people believe you. He is lovely.

    Patrick is a talent to that industry. Fair enough i can see why non-fans see this as a dive moment but to the fans who understand him he had a right to do it. They cut the gig and patricks a avid lover of his fans. He had his right to complain, if he didnt the fans would of. AND that women everyone thinks patrick is assaulting thats victoria his violinist and he's throwing the stuff behind her to the fat man. She should of helped him and threw her violin his way.

    Shut the fuck up before you even say a word about patrick! he was just defending his fans rights to have the performance the have pay for, what do you prefer, a band like Placebo who recently in spain didn't play for an MTV show and they didn't give a damn about their fans… people that waited for long hours under the killing sun…
