…I tuned in for less than a minute. I find her voice too annoying. Even if she weren't discriminatory i can't get past her vocal annoyance.

    2. 2

Who is going to watch that annoying bitch?

    3. 3

      Self hater..HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

    4. 4

I read the article and i think Wendy is disgusting especially if what the audience member says is true, that she was in a normal outfit that a normal woman would wear and a ponytail wig. thats fucking rude to treat her that way. DISCRIMINATION!!! SUE SUE SUE

    5. 5

It really doesn't seem like it was Wendy's decision to discriminate. It seems that it was the staff who had the issues with the queen. Wendy was prob to busy getting her wig on straight to have any clue what was going on.

    6. 6

      i can't stand that witch!

    7. 7

What is the deal with this Wendy Williams? I only heard her interviewed once and she annoyed the sh*&)t out of me! Why is she still around?

    8. 8

So are you fatty, less we forget your homophobic rant against will.i.am that you got beat down for

    9. 9

Team Wendy… I'm sure it had nothing to do with him being a man in drag. Have you seen her show with the Foo Foo La. She's very gaylicious and is a self proclaimed drag queen. She probably gets lots of people trying to "dress up" for this show and be seen. He may not have been one of those people but this is daytime television. You would expect the same from The View or R & K. If it was night time it'd be different.

    10. 10

Re: Betheney – We're talking about a dude who dresses like a woman to entertain people, not a dude who is trying to become a woman. That would be discrimination. Drag Queen's wear costumes, it doesn't matter how toned down it is, it's still a costume, and if the rule says no costumes, then no costumes — no exceptions. Now, I do find it a bit awkward that Wendy's "people" were so eager to exclude this person from being seen. I highly doubt Wendy had anything to do with this, it should be the producers and what not being looked into.

    11. 11

      uhm.
      wow.
      shes looks like one.
      hahahaah

    12. 12

wow, that is stupid. and i've never watched that wendy person. guess i'm not missing much.

    13. 13

I thought she was a drag queen?

    14. 14

wait. she ISN'T a drag queen? i legitimately thought she was. fail on my part.

    15. 15

i doubt they are her rules, it might be her show but she isn't the one in charge when it comes to policies etc.

    16. 16

im gonna speak for wendy williams here: touche perez

    19. 19

PLEASE CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME HOW THIS WOMAN GOT A SHOW IN THE FIRST PLACE???

    20. 20

      well
basically it wasnt Wendy Williams herself discriminating…
it was the people who worked on her show..

i would like to see what SHE says about this incident

    21. 21

There should be a drag queen flash mob attempt at entering this show. Aviance: we support you!

    22. 22

wendy's wig is obviously a little to tight its corrupting her thinking

    23. 23

lol She only hates them because she has probably been called one so many time! XP p.s.- I definitely agree with you!

    24. 24

I've watched her show ONCE, can someone tell me how to get that hour back. 5 bucks it is canceled by the end of the year

    25. 25

I love her and her show. I wish she had better guess but she's just starting out. Anyway, it's not Wendy's falut, it's her staff. After she reads this article or hear about it, I bet he's going to be a guest on the show.

    26. 26

Oh, Jonny McGovern was there too! He's the Gay Pimp - LOVE HIM!

Wendy Williams, on the other hand, is insufferable. I only watch clips of her on The Soup.

    27. 27

I really did think she was a drag queen
      Now I know she's not
thanks for clearing it up :)

    28. 28

Sounds like it was her staff……not her

    29. 29

Perez get over yourself…maybe the drag queens balls were hanging out and that's why IT wasn't allowed in! if anyone knows Wendy they know that's not her style..

    30. 30

A self hater? Like Perez, who uses anti guays slurs, perhaps?

    31. 31

Re: SheriMoonFireFly – HI Sheri. I couldn't stay tuned. She was odd and rambled. Sort of like what I am doing right now…

    32. 32

I know Erica it's crazy they didn't let her in.

    33. 33

      a) i hate her
      b) couldnt have said it better my self! she is a drag queen lol

    34. 34

      I say boy cott!
      Love the flash mob idea!
      .
Won't watch it anyway but seems like a foolish move for someone who is so supported by the gay community.

    35. 35

I'm just curious as to how demure Ericka Aviance was actually looking at the show. She must have stood out enough for her to be clocked like that. Not that I'm against drag–I'm a big supporter of the drag community myself. But there's two sides to every story. Perhaps a picture of Ms. Aviance and how she looked that day would help put this story into perspective.

    36. 36

I'm definately not homophobic, i have lots of gay friends, but in all honesty, drag queens scare me. haha most are really tall in like 6 inch heels, i can't even wear those myself! I always scared they are going to squish me, but thank god, they are usually super cool. haha

      37

Um did anyone realize that in the article the drag queen made a derogatory comment against black women does anyone care about that or are drag queens that much more important dont get me wrong i love drag queens but she didnt have to throw all black women under the bus thats just wrong wonder wut perez thinks about that?

    38. 38

WTF? ISNT SHE A DRAG QUEEN LOL

    39. 39

So she discriminates again Mister Gaga?

    40. 40

I am so over drag queens thinking they look like "real" women and not like a joke. I am sure that was the case with this "girl".

    41. 41

I was there - saw it happen! We all came in — they ushered us and the three girls to a conference room and 10 min later was asked to leave. Joan invited the girls herself - the show told them to go.

    42. 42

      who the hell is that

    43. 43

I stopped reading when this big douchebag said "p.s. - much less hair than any of the black women". Yeah, get your discrimination point across by bashing black ladies and their church make up. So dumb. I agree that not letting him in was stupid because I mean, Wendy is a drag queen, with that voice and look of hers. She's an embarrassingly bad tv host too… from what I've seen on E! Channel's The Soup.

    44. 44

In my time zone Wendy comes on at 10am. Now I am just taking a shot here, not my personal opinion, but I think the show wants to fit into the morning TV type demographic, maybe going for a more fun and lighthearted theme than say The View or Regis and Kelly. Maybe they feel that morning TV does not need to shock people with drag queens ( attention seekers). Some people, gay or straight, just may feel that drag queens are annoying. I have watched the show and there are certainly lots of gay people attending, so I don't think Wendy has anything against LGBT folks, maybe its a matter of A. she wants the focus on her, not the dressed up men (maybe she is sensitive to people calling her a drag queen), or B. morning TV does not want drag queens. I am pretty sure the producers are calling the shots here. Wendy does not seems like a person who would discrimiate against anyone.

    45. 45

She is BEYOND obnoxious. She knows she's butt…and she doesn't want anyone that looks better then her on her show.
      She is gross.

    46. 46

whatever. i still love her show and i'm still gonna watch it!
      get over it.

    47. 47

LOL Self Hater…U goT her There

    48. 48

What the hell is a "gay" catchphrase?!?

    49. 49

      Self-hater! bahaha

    50. Niobe says – reply to this

      50

This is stupid, we are not talking about a man in drag wearing a demure cocktail dress, or proper attire, we are talking about a grown man, wearing a "BABY DOLL" nightie, this is what is wrong. I am sure if a woman decides to show up wearing undergarments, not matter how much they covered, they would not be let in….quit screaming discrimination….especially since you yourself have resorted to using it, so YOUR message is LOST IN TRANSLATION…..

    51. 51

I can understand why they didnt let him in. They dont want the show to seem like a joke though it is, sadly.

    52. 52

Perez, don't even go there against Wendy….. You are not from NY and you do not know her and the circumstances….. She will make the Black Eyed Pea incident look like a Kiss.

    53. 53

The REAL Wendy Williams (of the Plasmatics) would have sliced, dance and ate this chick for lunch… then puked her up on stage.

    54. 54

I do not think she had much to do with the situation. Just because she is the one we see on tv doesn't mean she is the one with all the authority. Reading the article, it shows that she had little to no input on this decision.

I love her though, which is strange because usually I find people like her to be annoying.

dude, for real, she isn't a drag queen? I have no clue who wendy williams is but I saw a picture and THAT'S A MAN BABY!

Speaking of which - I MISS Eddie Izzard!

Please see if some of your paps have seen Eddie?

      Eddie is TV/Transvestite.

    58. 58

the man who is playing "wendy" is trying to pass as a real woman.. having a real drag queen in the audience would detract from the "illusion" and possibly lead to blowing his cover. this show is on BET.. can't have anything 'gay' going on or wendy would be back to working the streets.

    59. 59

i say we get enough drag queens together and fill up every seat in that place with big hair and flashy dresses then if we still feel like it rip that b*tchs fake hair off her head but thats just me lol

    60. 60

I don't really see this a big deal to be honest. This happens on TV all of the time. I remember them not showing a Muslim behind Obama when he was still a candidate for presidency because it may have made him look bad.

    61. 61

That is absolutely appalling. Way to discriminate against a key demographic.

    62. 62

I love me sum Wendy…How youuuu doin'!!! She wants to keep it clean…and not turn into a JERRY SPRINGER show… come on!!! RESPECT it!

    63. 63

i think if yu actually watched her show yu woulc c that she is NOT the type 2 b hidin drag queens n her audience. this was NOT the work of Wendy..this was her crew. she is NOT at fault

    64. 64

Re: _Music DJ_ – perez didnt say that it was her who discrminated against them he said wendy williams new show.

    65. 65

      ew

    66. 66

Big fucking deal some producers at the wendy williams show, not even wendy herself, didn't want a tranny on their day time talk show. Normally I'm defending gay people on here but please cry me a fucking river you are a drag queen in a dress and a wig, how the fuck is that not a costume? Demure in the eyes of a drag queen is prob still way over the top for the average ladies and house wives who are at home and watching this show.

    67. 67

      Hypocritical much?

    68. 68

you r talking about discrimination ???….oh the nerve…….how easily u forget your drunked and druged rant (wich everyone sawv and heard u) not to mention the litlle fact that u r a women hater……so don't comment on discrimination when you r the biggest biggot of them all….

    69. 69

Re: rubysoho – I always suspect a "casting couch" when I can't figure out how someone like that gets a show.

    70. 70

The first time I ever saw her I said Wow! the networks are giving drag queens there own talk shows! How totally awesome!

    71. 71

Wendy Williams does not discriminate against drag queens. The show requests that no one wear a costume, that;s not discrimination. And Perez just made this post because he is jealous that his little stint on Vh1 didn't last.

I love Wendy Williams. Over the past few weeks she has really improved as a talk show host, I will continue to watch. And this show will not be canceled like someone else said.

    72. 72

Good! Those who dress as the opposite sex for fun have a serious mental complex.

    73. 73

I thought she was a drag queen. Maybe she doesn't want any competition. You know drag queens are very competative!

    74. 74

I love the wendy williams show! Bcuz it is differnt bcuz its not very professinal as other tv shows

    75. 75

everybody needs to calm down. yes, i'm offended by the comment about black women and whatever happened with the drag queen incident does sound like her staff did it. have you seen some of the people in her audience? none of them look straight! the men look like women anyway. i say get over it and let's enjoy "hot topics"! i love her!

    76. 76

You hate your own NAMBLA fatass

    77. 77

SHE IZ THE UGLIEST THING, SHE (IT) CANT EVEN CARRY THE NAME DRAG QUEEN WITH PRIDE LIKE THE THE REAL FAB QUEENS CAN AND I CALL THAT A H8TR

    78. 78

      Is she really a he?

    79. 79

Yeah, I'm still not sure about that one. . .but she's a hot tranny mess.

    80. 80

i just cant get it.. why would she discriminate them when she looks like one?

    81. 81

That Ronald McDonald haired drag queen does not represent the LGBT community. He represents performers. In Hollywood terms, showing up to be in the audience at The Wendy Williams Show dressed in drag is the same as if Lindsay Lohan showed on Meryl Streep's set wearing Meryl's wardrobe.
Wendy's not a self hater. She's an originator; like all the other Barabara's, Dorothy's, Joans, Janet's, and Liza's that "queens" like that one make their career on.
Maybe if that queen would have shown up dressed like Wendy Williams instead of Wendy Thomas (burger joint cartoon), the outcome would have been different.

    82. 82

I Love Eddie Izzard. Eddie is TV and probably has more brains in his little finger then Wendy who? lol
