Ah, The Pivert.
Looks like he's quickly on the way to the D-list!
Not only is Entourage losing steam this season on HBO and there was his whole Mercury poisoning poisoned run on Broadway, but Piven's latest flick, The Goods, is bombing big time at the box office!!!
And rightfully so! That movie looks HOrrendous!!!!!
Insiders are predicting The Goods will bring in less than $6 million by the weekend's close. Ouch!
Space alien drama District 9 took home the top spot at the U.S. box office.
Could we finally be Pivert-free soon????

Come on perez! This movie looks horrible. It had no chance of doing good in the box office. Besides he is not really a lead actor when it comes to movies. Also entourage is doing fine. It is a very good season so far. It will be around for a few more seasons.
I like some of the actors in that movie, it just looks painfully horrible.

I saw his movie this weekend and laughed really hard at a lot of it. I think it will definitely catch steam once it goes out onto DVD. It really was funny.

Word of mouth will help this film. It was HILARIOUS! There were like 8 movies opening this weekend - they couldn't all be #1!
I had a helluva time deciding which ones to go see first. But, this was at the top of the list and it was worth every penny! Jeremy Piven is a terrific actor. I could care less about what he's "supposedly" like in real life. His job is to entertain me and he does!

I Actually Seen This Movie Friday Night! Let Me Tell You It Was One Of The Worst Movies I Have Ever Seen! Not That I Was Expecting It To Be Oscar Worthy But They Tried To Hard To Make It Funny And It Just Came Off Cheezy! -10 out of 10
It seems to me this is going to be a rip off of Used Cars…
I haven't seen it yet, but the trailer looked fairly good - I might see it at a discount matinee later this week. Piven is a good actor, yeah, a Grade-2 douche off-screen, but that's a different discussion.

And this movie is doing so-so financially - it didn't have a saturation opening, and it is doing about $1000 per scren (venue). That is so-so box office, but at least it isn't an unmitigated disaster like the VaneXXXa Hore-udgesn piece of crap, "Bandslam", which is doing a catastrophically bad $266 per screen. That means that, at every showing across the U.S., there are only an average of six or seven people in the audience. Piven can at least smile, knowing that his movie will at least make most of its money back, while Summit will take a big financial bath on the smelly-rotten 'Bandslam'.
That's pretty good for a gay porno.
I think this movie looks funny, not great or an award winner or anything but I didnt think it looked painful, it looks good for a couple laughs, which to me is worth something

What about "Time Traveler's Wife"? That was the movie that I saw this weekend, and I thought it was very cute and sad…Rachel McAdams is just lovely, and Eric Bana is hot as fuck (and you see his ass!).

Entourage is losing steam because they have no story anymore. Vince gets famous, gets models, and gives his friends cars as gifts, then loses his fame, (but gets models) and cries about it for a season, then gets famous again, gets models, and gives more cars as gifts…yawn.
Ari's story line is the only one that is somewhat interesting this season.
Why such hater Perez? Enourage was renewed for a new season and still very creative, your more famous than ever and you lost weight………………oh yeah I guess- you have a tiny d**K.

Actually, this movie made a lot of sense to make, look at the giant grosses for all the other movies Adam McCay produced. Honestly, this summer has just been really awful for comedies (sans the hangover)
