Re: awurbii – The problem with your précis is that reviews of this type are essentially unaffected by reviews (whether good, middling (which most of them were) or bad).

This cliche-laden film was loaded with all types of cues for its intended demographic - tweens - and the target audience voted with their feet, staying away in droves. Summit thought that including Whore-gens in the cast would get some residual blowback from the HSMs. However, one crucial thing is that HSM3 (and 17 Again to a much lesser extent) were driven by parents taking their young tween daughters. This movie is nothing like the typical sanitized Disney product - there is a scene where the male lead pimps out his mother. Parents will not take their kids to this kind of sophomoric pandering. If anything, Summit should have sold the film by emphasizing the soundtrack, which had some decent stuff on it, but instead, they decided to push the fish-smelly whore, and they got what they deserved.

The final grade on this disastrous film is this: "Bandslam" now ranks # 8 on the list of all-time worst openings for films that opened wide (more than 2,000 theaters). Stick THAT up Whore-gens's diseased, welll-used anal crevice!!

You can see the picture of them kissing each other at whosdatedwho.com website, is not a very clear pic but, Kris hides themselves with her legs…they are definetly kissing! It was such an obvious thing….Is a great lost for the single ladies but they make a nice couple and it should had happen earlier!

I just do not see Kristen Stewart's appeal…she always looks like a sweaty, greasy hot mess and needs to get over her "I hate the attention" attitude. Stop being so fucking awkward. She's clearly smoking in those pics too, so disgusting. I didn't see any indication of Rob kissing her, and I really don't blame him for passing on tar breath.

I apologise for the stupidity statement. It is definitely true that the Summit's marketing strategy was not well thought out. The cliché-ridden premise that you speak of was placed in the advertising and not in the actual film. My point is, is that Bandslam is a good film. A film that receives 80% on rottentomatoes.com and 89% by critics obviously is worth it. It sounds look like you have seen the film yourself. You know that was a good film.

It would be unfair for me to place the blame on you considering that many others do the exact same thing. Yet, your comments have stood out the most because you write with a high-level of intellect. Something that you do in your spare time to pour out your opinions and have fun toying with people’s emotions. What I would like to say and what I want you to realise is that the people you make reference think and feel just like you do. What a mistake!! Now all the Twi-hards are overjoyed. Robert & K-Stew are a couple thus by bringing to life the characters of Edward & Bella. Of course now that is all those two will be known as.

I am betting that this will kill the chemistry that they had on set. That usually changes when actors end up becoming real life couples and star in movies together. Good example - Tom Cruise & Nicole Kidman or any other female that has been linked to Tom Cruise before Katie Holmes.

I read the books and thought that the first book was ok, the second one was boring, the third seemed to be out in left field and the last book was really corny!! As for the movie Twilight - there was some bad acting in that movie. Will good luck to Edward & Bella, Oops, I mean Robert & K-Stew, two people who truly deserve what they are about to receive in attention from their adoring fans. You gave the fans what they wanted and now your lives will never be the same.

they are definitely not kissing. it's called talking. the loud music makes it kind of hard to hear, and you have to get in close in order to talk, which they should not do, seeing as it is a concert and meant to be enjoyed. if they wanted to talk, you think that they would've gone to dinner or a park.
