Reading all these nageative comments, that I'm sure come mostly from Americans, I'm pretty darn happy and proud to be European. We here are very open minded about homosexuality and have no problem whatsoever whether it's shown on our screens or we see it outside. We just accept the fact that it is a reality and really don't bother with all the gay-hate nonsense. BTW Mad Men is a superb show!

If someone doesn't like oysters and someone else doesn't like shrimps, there is nothing to explain. It's just taste. I won't force you to like shrimps if you prefer dem oysters. But as far as representation, Perez wouldn't announce this TV show scene if it was that frequent. Between 5 to 10 % of population is a LARGE amount of people when you think of it. That visual gay scenes appear on TV here and there is normal. If they appear more frequently on True Blood or Six Feet Under it's only that the writer is gay. He's allowed to express his desires. He doesn't force people to like his shows. Perez doesn't force anyone to come to a website heavy on pink designs.
