I find it hard to believe that Dr. Murray made Michael take those drugs. People say that he didn't have to give it to him….I'm sorry if Michael wanted pain medicine…he would have gotten it no matter what…It just so happened to be Dr. Murray this time. If I was Michael's family and legal team, I would drop these ridiculous charges. Michael had a problem…its completely understandable considering the crazy life he had…but ultimately its Michael's fault he's dead. Not Dr. Murrays'.

      I agree with the last statement….Michael had a drug problem…and being the mega superstar that he was, he would have been able to get the drugs eventually because there will always be some dumb asshole that can be paid enough to enable an addict by getting more drugs. It sucks for this doctor to be the idiot that gave him the drugs (and a lethal doseage at that!) but what can he do about it now? He sounds scared and probably should be since even if he doesn't go to jail, his medical career is over. and he will forever have to live with the fact that he helped kill Michael Jackson - and will also have to bear the scorn/hatred of Michael's millions of fans across the globe.
      This is just no happy ending to this story…and it's ironic because at one point in his career, Michael was given an award for his work to promote the danger of drug and alcohol abuse. So sad.

      I do not understand how people can sit here and defend Michael…The man knew what he was doing. There has been documented proof of medical professionals warning Michael about the danger of this drug and he still didn't listen. And even if he wasn't warned, I refuse to believe Michael didn't have common sense to know what he was doing. blame needs to be placed where it belongs. As a medical doctor, it is your sole duty to care for your patients in the safest, but most effective way possible. Conrad Murray DID NOT DO THAT. I don't care what Michael Jackson wanted, it was up to Murray to either prescribe him something legal with almost as much effectiveness as the propofol or not take the job. No one was putting a gun to his head telling him he had to take the job. No, he saw money and that was all. If I hired and paid you to go rob a bank, and you do it but get caught, are you not responsible for robbing that bank? Same scenario, different case. Michael Jackson wanted to sleep and was desperate for a drug strong enough to allow him to do just that. He wasn't a doctor, therefore he didn't know that propofol could potentially be deadly. Conrad Murray knew, though, and didn't advise him otherwise. I'm not judging the guy, but from the way I'm looking at it, he was part of the cause of Michael Jackson's death.
