Spider-Man To Swing On Screen 2 or 3 More Times?

The musical might be on the outs, but the movies are still coming on strong!
Though admittedly trying to keep the projects hush-hush, it was revealed in Varity that Sony has signed screenwriter James Vanderbilt to pen Spider-Man 5 and Spider-Man 6.
James has already finished Spider-Man 4, that begins production early 2010.
However, it is fairly certain to both us and everyone else that there is little chance that Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, and acclaimed director Sam Raimi will return for two more franchised flicks. It took forever to get them to agree on the fourth one. Sources say if that is the case, then a revamp of the series will have to happen.
A revamp already? How about just no more movies?!!!

In all honesty, no I really don't want to see anymore Spider Man movies. I mean, when I saw the 3rd one in theatres I felt like I wasted my money. The effects were good, but honestly, what was with that dance scene with Peter in that club? It wasn't the best movie and i'm not looking forward to more.

Oh wait, sorry, I didn't read that Maguire and Dunst wouldn't be in them. In THAT case I would definitly go see the new ones. I think some new blood in the franchise would be good, Hell Christian Bale brought back Batman after Clooney ruined it, so After that horrible Spiderman 3 they definitly need somebody new.

They need to stop. Superman sucked after the second movie. Batman (the 90s version) sucked after the second movie. They need to quit while they're still a millimeter ahead.
