Tommy Lee Injured!
He's too old to be pulling this shiz!
Tommy Lee will not be on his drum set for several Crue Fest 2 shows as he is suffering from severe burns.
Just like a pre-teen on 4th of July, Lee burnt his left hand while playing with a set of sparklers!!
The genius, while his thumb and forefinger where wrapped in bandages, explained his absence at Saturday's show in Detroit.
"First of all, I suck. I was having fun and I burned myself," said Lee, who proceeded to hand the crowd a bottle of Jagermeister and thumped on a drum with his right hand during the encore for Girls, Girls, Girls.
Jager will not appease the audience, but it will make them nauseous!
Bassist Nikki Sixx commented:
"Accidents do happen and, yes, frustration does happen to everybody, including Tommy, who would rather play drums (even with a damaged hand) than just about anything in the whole world. But following doctor's orders for a few shows is what we have to (do) right now (or cancel shows). We all wanna say we're sorry Tommy has to sit out a couple shows, but we hope to have him back up on the drums ASAP."

yeah i was at that concert and it sucked because everyone who loves motley crue loves tommy lee but he came out and was really cool talking to the audience so it shows he still supported the show!

My girlfriend met him backstage - and she says he is as skanky in person as he is in this picture. SHe was dissapointed.

Saw Cruefest in Detroit, if it wasn't for Godsmack (who were friggin brilliant), that whole concert would have been pure crap. They played Dr. Feelgood album in it's entirety……very lazy if you ask me. A couple of hits mixed in with fluff. Very disappointing. Went to Cruefest last year, which was one of my top 5 concerts, this year, yikes……. and without Tommy Lee…why bother? Heart goes out to Mick Mars who has scleroderma. Nikki didn't even speak once. Too Good for Detroit apparently. Oh well…it's Kid Rock Territory anyway!!!

That's his job, he doesn't hide behind a computer screen and bash other celebrities to make his own self worth that much better. Please get real and grow up.

I was at the Cincinnati show…the first one without Tommy Lee…and to say I was dissapointed after spending $250 for 2 seats is an understatment.It was like seeing Areosmith w/o Steven Tyler but they had the decency to cancel.Yes he IS an idiot…he had an obligation to the thousands of fans like me who shelled out large sums to see them NOT to do something stupid or give me my damm money back.He passed the jager bottle to the audience here too so all you folks in Detroit…it was scripted.The entire show sucked except for Godsmack who RULED!
