The sixth season finale of My Life On The D-List on Bravo only drew 781,000 viewers to the channel, while 945,000 viewers tuned in to the 5th season finale of the show.

the show wasn't that funny this season. it was way too staged…and was just about her meeting and gushing over has-been celebs. the show was good when it was just about her everyday life.
i always watch it on demand not when it actually airs.. I LOVE KATHY GRIFFIN!
The finale was awesome. I mean getting a star on the palm springs walk of fame is kind of lame and totally d-list… not to mention guest stars like suzanne sommers, barry manilow and carol channing aren't that interesting, but it was still a great episode and i'm def watching next season. i smell emmy #3

I LOVE Kathy Griffin, and never missed an episode of earlier seasons, but I forget to watch this season because I never turn in to Bravo any more and see promos for her show.
The reason for this? All Bravo is showing these days is GARBAGE like 'Real Housewives' and 'Miami Social' -I never tune in to that crap… so I miss my beloved Kathy.

Not watching as much as it's all scenes are set up now. Loved the show when it was about her daily life and struggles. Wish she'd go back to the original format! Still love her.

She used to make fun of stars, and had her own set of friends. now all she does is hang out with celebs, and kiss their asses. It isn't the same show.

The first couple seasons of the show I was in love and watched faithfully. It was funny, fresh, on point. Now it just isn't the same. SHE is not the same.

I was until she started to come off as pathetic, not edgy. That whole show in Miami, her bit about trying to buy a house with an insulting low ball bid was beyond trying to be funny. She's turned into a circus act bordering on train wreck. She is losing her chops, big time.
I also don't like that she emabarrasses her mother to get laughs. NOT COOL AT ALL! She, Joan Rivers and Melissa Rivers can be put in the category of uncouth, whiney, and paranoid. And it's just so hard to make myself tune into that week after week. I feel terrible after watching an episode now. Before it was dishing on A list celebs. Now it's just really pathetic attempts to garner attention. REALLY, REALLY, pathetic attempts. Even her friends look mortified. The bit with Suzanne Somers was debasing for the both of them. I'm done. Grow up Kathy.

It's too staged. The earlier seasons seemed very real - now, everything seems fake. Not fun to watch.

I thought this season was great, but a lot of it does seem to staged now. Before it was about her life, and now it's intentional guests on each show to what—boost ratings? I watch the show religiously, but I DVR it because I am never home when it airs, and the ratings don't count that. hell, i dont have a nielson box, so even if i did watch live, they wouldn't know!
I watched this season, but didn't really care for the format…it seemed more like "Kathy & Friends" than how its been in past seasons. She is still funny, but I don't know…it just sorta seemed like she was relying too much on Mom and visiting her questionable "A List" celebrity friends….I actually think her day to day life was much more funny than hanging out with Paris Hilton…

this season was WAY too staged. there was nothing unplanned about it and that was what made the show funny before, the spontaneous moments.

I LOVE this show and am just so amazed at those ratings. And Gossip Girl gets more?? That says something about the Tv audience that isn't too savory. Biggest issue I have had with teh D-List is they only do something like 7 episodes a year. Man, that's hardly worth it.
This may be more of a BRAVO issue than a Kathy issue…isn't BRAVO losing a lot of its viewers (ie Project Runway) and shows?? Move D-List to another channel and 'watch what happens.'

Kathy Griffin is funny but not in huge doses. I can take a few minutes of her when she's on something like Larry King and then I have to watch something else. I can't imagine watching an entire show of hers.

I enjoyed the Kathy Griffin that made fun of celebrities, and wasn't a TOOL of celebwhores like Paris Hilton. Kathy miscalculated that hanging with Paris was going to endear her to ANYONE. The general public HATES Paris Hilton, and anyone seen cozying up to her gets dirty with that hate……sorry Kathy, BIG miscalculation.

Baah, people just move on after a while. She's had a lot of exposure lately, so if I were her, I'd eventually take that higher profile and go on the road with a great routine, pack some houses for a bit and let media miss me while I work on some kicking new material and re-invent myself. Kathy's comedic observations are unique. No one sees the world quite like Ms. Griffin. She and Roseanne should do a double bill and play bigger rooms.
I have watched this show from day 1…but this season sucks, I have only watched one show and bailed
She's a very funny person, obviously. But immediately this season we could tell that the show was going to be highly-manufactured with the artifice of contrived "encounters".
The Paris Hilton episode was exceptionally weak. It wasn't even funny. It wasn't clever.
The only segment this season of any genuine "interest" was the peek into Suzanne Somers' house and life. Maybe because it seemed most on-track with what a reality show ought to be doing.
The other episodes this season (unlike other seasons) seemed more like elaborate skits. Do a sketch comedy show and not a reality show if that's what they want to do.
The whole Better Midler, Gloria Estefan, etc stuff would have been fine if it were …The Mike Douglas Show.

I watch all the time, and I am a 51 year old married white woman. I think she's hella funny. And I have to say, I was really proud of her on the show when she did the whole Norma Gay think, it was really first class of her to take those kids to Sacramento for that rally on Prop 8. She seemed to do it more for good reasons, not just for the show, or the ratings. It really brought a tear to my eye when she had them watch the Documentary on Matthew Shepherd. Way to go Kathy

Perhaps more of us would tune in if the network actually broadcasts the show when they say they will! I cannot tell you how many times I have attempted to watch Kathy Griffin "D List" and instead switched the channel to Bravo, only to be watching "New York Prep", or whatever that piece of shit show is called. I would watch Kathy all the time, if the network actually broadcast it when they are supposed to! Someone in programming is a fucking idiot over at Bravo!

I actually love Bravo and most of their shows and I used to love Kathy and never missed her show. I no longer watch her because I wasn't about to tune in to hear her bash conservatives. If you know that almost half of the United States voted for a conservative, why would you go out of your way to alienate so many people. Liberals tend to think all conservatives are hillbillys which is so not the case. I am a city girl who enjoyed Kathy's humor until she started bashing us. I also agree that the show has become very staged.
