Kourtney Kardashian Almost Had An Abortion?!?
With the news of a very unplanned pregnancy for Kourtney Kardashian, came the discussion on how to handle the situation.
Obviously, in this day and age, Kourtney could have chosen several avenues to deal with her pregnancy and she considered all of them - including abortion!
Kourtney explains:
"I definitely thought about it long and hard, about if I wanted to keep the baby or not, and I wasn't thinking about adoption. I do think every woman should have the right to do what they want, but I don't think it's talked through enough. I can't even tell you how many people just say, 'Oh, get an abortion.' Like it's not a big deal."
The decision making process left Kourt confused and concerned, looking for guidance from family, friends, doctors, and even on again, off again, boyfriend and baby daddy Scott Disick, who she says promised to "support" her no matter what she decided.
Ultimately, as we all know, she decided to keep the baby, but it was a decision not taken lightly. And thankfully Kourtney feels that she made the right choice adding:
"My doctor told me there is nothing you will ever regret about having the baby, but he was like, 'You may regret not having the baby.' And I was like: That is so true. And it just hit me. I got so excited"
We think you made the right choice too, Kourtney. Certainly, that little tyke will be the favorite Kardashian in the house in no time!

Gosh.. raising a baby is hard work. I think that you should have the right to kill it until it turns 18 and can be on its own. That's right… and if the baby gets an arm pulled off during the abortion but somehow lives, we should do what Obama voted for and just let the little heap die on the table instead of giving it any care. I mean, it's not like it's wrong to kill it or anything since it isn't an adult and isn't paying taxes into the government.
So she considered an abortion. Big deal. It is her right.

I honestly don't think a doctor should tell you that if you keep the pregnancy you'll never regret it. That's really not the doctor's scope of practice. But I guess it would be bad press for her if she decided to terminate the pregnancy. I hope she is really ready (physically & mentally) for having this child with an off again on again relationship. Only time will tell.

Everyone keeps talking about her taking her pill and using protection, WHO SAYS SHE WASN'T? There is NO form of birth control that is 100%, not the pill, not condoms, nothing. For all you know she WAS on the pill and she WAS taking it at the same time every day.
The comments here have been disgusting. Abortion is a woman's right and choice. A fetus has NO rights as it has not been born. And there is no reason a woman should be forced to give birth ever. It's called bodily integrity, and we all have it. No one has a right to infringe on it, not another person, not a fetus, nothing. You can say that I would disagree when I was a fetus, but as I had no thoughts to the matter… no I wouldn't have cared either way, even now I would have supported my mother's right to choose.

Whether or not to go through with having a baby once you're pregnant is not a decision you should have anyone make for you. You know whether or not it's something that you want to do at that time. Ultimately the (potential) kid is the one going to deal with the results of your decision. I don't think it's right for people to have a kid unless they really want it. It is NO FUN being the kid of people who had a kid just because the woman got accidentally pregnant and then you just become an unwanted financial and emotional burden. That really fucking sucks when you spend you life being resented as someone's unwanted burden.

It doesn't matter if you're rich, poor, a teen or a woman in your 30s, pregnancy is not for everyone and neither is raising children. Just because she has money and is an adult doesn't mean she's going to make a decent mother let alone a good one. Abortion is a personal choice everyone should have the right to regardless of your age, socio-economic status, race, religion.
