Homophobes? I would hardly classify parents that don't want their young impressionable children watching 'a very gay kiss' as homophobes. As parents it is our job to monitor what our children see and and learn and yes, the simple solution would be to turn off the tv but I truly resent being called a homophobe if I choose to not let my kids watch a gay couple make out. The gay community preaches tolerance to the 'homophobes' but where is your tolerance of Christians that believe that marriage is meant for a man and a woman only??? We have the right to vote the way we see fit and believe as much as you do. Practice what you preach!

Are you kidding? They are getting mad at the gay kiss, and the last 2 episodes are all about guys grabbing girls butts, and sex with the secretary? give me a break! sure its a little risque at some points, but its fine for people over 14.

Perhaps you should go back and re-read my comment. I did not say that I had a problem with gay people. Obviously, if I did, I would not come to Perezhilton.com. What I have a problem with is being called a homophobe for not wanting my kids to see a gay couple kissing. They are young and learn quickly and seeing something like that would leave an impression. So before you go attacking me, and calling me names, why don't you pay attention and think about what I was really saying and not put your own demented twist on it!

People are complaining about this show… think of all of the shows that are on TV (reality shows in particular) that show all these things and blur them out… kids aren't stupid… remember, we were all kids once…we knew exactly what was behind that blur.

The issue isn't what is being shown or a rating system. Parents need to get a grip on their kids. If you don't want them watching it, shut the tv off. Monitor your kids… be a parent!!

Man and woman kissing is natural. Gay is not. Kids are confused and don't understand.. It is totally inappropriate for them.. When they are older, like 13, I'd explain to my kids about gays.. But until then, just let them live their lives blissfully happy not having to decipher if being gay or straight is right or wrong.. Cartoons are good, but I wouldn't let my kids (if I had any) watch that channel period.. They need cartoons and fresh air! Kids are growing up wayyy too fast now a days!

Geez…I watch Mad Men, and it is not that racy. It's on network cable, so it's not like there can be nudity or anything. It's on at 900 (central), so not a *kiddy* time. I have a child, and I don't watch shows with her in the room, but I don't think the programming in this country should be tailored to suit the needs of parents of small children. C'mon…YOU decide what your kid watches.

They watch too much tv and grow up wayy too fast.. I normally am not one who blames it all on tv and video games, but look at your grandparents and even parents.. Compare them to kids today.. I'm 18 and my dad would bend me over his knee and spank my ass so hard if he ever saw me wearing what some 12 and 13 year olds are wearing.. When I have kids, I will definitely limit tv time..

I'm 18 and wouldn't do 3/4 of the shit kids do now.. I honestly blame it on tv and video games.. It sounds dumb, but generations ago, they didn't have that shit, and they turned out great.. as soon as tv and games came along, there's more crime, violence, and to be honest, kids are dumber! Re: BeautifulBrunnette69 – problem is these days, parents expect everyone else (schools, churches, law enforcement, siblings, etc) to raise their children for them. there's more to just having children, you must raise them to be assets to society. another problem is, real parents that try to discipline their chidren are reported to child protection agencies for no reason - if I had a kid that even for one second thought they could talk to me the way these kids do nowadays, they'd get popped right in the mouth…..and any person to report or tell me I'm wrong would get popped too!!!!!

OMG I can't stand this. What kind of parent doesn't watch the shows their kids want to watch first. My 9yo must ask me if he can watch a show he has heard about or seen a commercial for and then I have to watch at least one episode without him before I give my approval. Yes he has a tv in his room but it is definitley not hooked up to cable. This is called ACTIVE parenting. Quit trying to get everyone else to do your parenting for you. Take some responsibility for what your kids are watching, listening to, or reading.

Those two things contradict each other (unless kids aren't allowed to see a man and a woman kiss either, then I apologize) because that says "I can tolerate you, as long as you are not yourself". Homophobia is "an extreme and irrational aversion to homosexuality and homosexual people". Im not sure if you think you're kids will "turn gay" if they see two men kissing but since it doesn't work that way, that's makes that about as irrational as it gets. Would your kids ask about it, maybe, depending on their age but it's up to you to inform them when the time is right. That is our job as a parent. If they are young, they shouldn't be watching it. Most kids wouldn't even notice the difference between two men kissing or a man and a woman kissing. Views on "vulgarities" are passed on from people of influence in their lives, like family and friends. They would only question it if they see you uncomfortable. What you're really trying to say is YOU have a problem with it. Change the channel… and good luck to your child.

If passionate kissing is allowed in EVERY medium (daytime soaps, PG movies, sitcoms) for Strait couples, being against the EXACT situation with same sex characters is Homophobic. That is cut an dry, no two ways about it. Hell, last season on Mad Men a female character was raped by her husband, where were the Morality Police on that one?
