Bono Talks About His Problem-Plagued Spider-Man Musical
Though the Broadway adaptation of Spider-Man is having difficulty swinging onto the Great White Way, U2's Bono is giving away the deets about what the show is supposed to look and sound like, including describing what kind of character the iconic superhero would have been.
"Our Peter Parker is much more…not Kurt Cobain, but a kind of slacker, a more kind of shy sort of guy," he says.
Bono proclaims the show will touch upon both opera and rock 'n roll and will introduce a new female villain along with with the Green Goblin. But the biggest shocker for us is his love for bitchress Evan Rachel Whore:
"She's the greatest actor of her generation, she's the one to watch," says Bono. "She happens to sing like a bird, it's like a true voice. She's a very pure spirit and a very bright mind and she brings the part of MJ to life really."
