Jason Mraz just carved himself a little piece of victory pie! His song I'm Your's is now the longest-running song on the Hot 100 chart in Billboard’s 51 history. He has officially beaten the likes of LeAnn Rimes, Carrie Underwood, and lest us not forget, the effing Macarena.
The song Jason himself refers to as “his happy little hippie song” and "genre-less" is also the only track to reach No. 1 on each of the following four radio-based charts: Mainstream Top 40/Pop Songs, Adult Contemporary, Adult Top 40, and Triple A.
Plus, it doesn't look like it is going anywhere soon, so Jason might edge out a lead that might be unbeatable!
Work it out, Mraz! You earned it, we guess.

I LOVE Jason Mraz, I've been a huge fan loooong before "I'm Yours." I have to say it's one of my least favorite songs. However, i'm SUPER STOKED he's getting hugely recognized for it - he deserves it! Yay Mraz!
I've been listening to this song for 5 years or so now! He used to sing it live in concert and I had the live version on my ipod lol He only officially recorded it and put it in an album this year - so the fact that he is so famous for it now is really weird, but I love his music regardless !

This week, the Black Eyed Peas broke the Billboard Hot 100 record for most consecutive weeks at no. 1. In the chart's 51-year history, record was previously held by Usher, with 19 weeks on top in 2004 - 'Burn' and 'Yeah!' Now the Peas are on top with 20 weeks - 'Boom Boom Pow' (on top for 12 weeks) and 'I Got a Feeling' (on top for 8 weeks).

Good. It means that good songs really SELL. When it's good, it makes it to both radio and the charts and actually lingers therein. Thus no one is surprised why garbage from the likes of Madonna flops and can't crack both radio and the charts.

I am SO glad he is finally being given the credit he deserves. He has been making amazing music for so long. He is very talented and seems like a really decent human being which is much more than I can say about most celebrities.

Congrats to him! Went to his concert a few weeks back and he's even better live than he is on cd! All the things he can do with that voice…best concert i've been too. Lots of dancing, participation…I had a smile on the whole night.
