Brangelina Buys The French Chateau!
We're beginning to think that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt don't quite remember the true meaning of "normal" anymore. No kid we've ever known has grown up in a French chateau, especially one worth almost $74 million!!!!
That's right! They've dropped almost three-quarters of a $100 million on this place!!!
As we understand it, this dream home is the 17th-century chateau they've been leasing for the past few year. It is set on 1,000 acres of property in Provence, France.
Brange intend to renovate all 35 BEDROOMS and include an abundance of modern marvels, such as jacuzzis, a spa complete with steam rooms,a new gym, an expanded wine cellar, a helicopter landing pad, and and even a motorbike track for Daddy Brad!
The Jolie-Pitts insist they want to bring their kids up in the area as they feel it is safer and will prove to give them a more normal life. We guess with neighbors like Johnny Depp and Bono, they really will be escaping all the hype of Hollywood!

Well, at least they didn't go overboard and buy an overly extravagant, ridiculously huge house. They took the failing global economy into consideration and spent a reasonable amount and stayed within a set budget. They seem like down to earth people, in my opinion. Not over the top at all. Such a relief after reading about all these other silly, "Hollywood" types….

omg. I don't know whether I'm jealous and upset about this..or happy for them. I absolutely LOVE the jolie-pitts…but this is truly an absurd amount of money. Nevertheless, I believe they've earned the right to buy this establishment (can we really call this a home), since they've basically given up their personal lives..lets face it…once you become a celeb, you BELONG to the public. With that being said, it's natural for them to want to build their own little gett-a-way/personal retreat to escape the madness of the media…and well, people in general. so…good for them. We just have to suck up the fact that this is borderline 100 mil…while we're all struggling to pay our lowly bills…
Good for them. France is a good place to raise kids. Kids need roots and school, and maybe even dance, soccer, gymnastics and a regular schedule; at least during the school year. France is lovely. Why shouldn't they? You know you would.

Errr…Acting is actually quite easy. "Looking Good" is not. What I find wrog in Brangie's success is how much they have reached it how of Looking Good versus having darn talent. I've made films, and if Brad was a newbie I would never dream of hiring him. Now you hire him only because you want to sell a film (because the mass = stoopid).

I want to give these two credit; they do an immense amout of humatarian work. BUT i don't understand this wasteful spending. I mean it's their business, but you would think that after being in so many poor countries that they would use a chunk of that change elsewhere.

If these two didn't make this obscene money, they couldn't donate obscene amounts to causes, or have the free time to attend to them. They keep far more than they bring in. I've never liked either of their acting, but someone does, and they've stair stepped themselves into this position, so no green eyed monster here. It is in great part about looks with these two; people pay to look at pretty people, and they are pretty.
…I know far too many families suffering from job layoffs since the recession started to think it's cool that a family of any size needs a chateau of that size and worth. Considering the image they promote of themselves, it's just wrong. You lead by example- sure they donate thousands to different causes but if they can spend 74 mil on a house, surely they could donate millions? That money could have gone to some of the different charities they support if they really cared so much.
