Madge could be 101 years old and she'd still be controversial somewhere in the world!
Officials from the Orthodox Church in Bulgaria have released a statement expressing their "disapproval and disagreement" with Madonna's upcoming show in Sofia, Bulgaria on Saturday!!
The church is hoping to convince their members to refrain from attending Her Madgesty's show, claiming the big M's Sticky and Sweet Tour showcases "a disrespectful and intolerant attitude" to Christians!
Whether the Orthodox Church likes it or not, Madonna will be performing at Sofia's Vasil Levski Stadium this coming Saturday.
Deal with it!

This church-against-Madonna publicity is as tired and old as The Queen of Flops. It doesn't generate any sales, as nobody cares about what the decaying has-been anymore.
Why is that Christians are always looked down upon?? There is nothing wrong with believing in God and praying. Christians can still have fun and still be open to all kinds of lifestyles. Just because they don't believe it is the right thing for everyone doesn't mean that they judge. It is time to stop "celebrating" celebrities like Brad Pitt and Madonna who seem to love saying how atheists they are. God is light!
I wouldn't be surprised if Madonna's own reps leaked this story to the press or paid off a church rep to say it. Great publicity for her.

If a church (of any religion) wants to discourage it's members from attending a concert who's main entertainer ridicules and mocks it's beliefs, then it's their call. She is one day a spiritual vegetarian during Ray of Light (her best album by far in my book) but she meets Guy Ritchie and goes shooting animals in the country the next day.
