If you live in New Jersey and were hoping to see Twilight cast members Ashley Green and Kellan Lutz at the Twilight convention this weekend, you are shit out of luck!
To the disappointment of many fans, the Cullen vamps have pulled out of their scheduled appearance due to scheduling conflicts with filming Eclipse, Life & Style reports.
The sold out event cost fans upwards of $300 for a premium ticket and would have given the rare chance to take pictures and get autographs from Ashely and Kellan. As a half-ass apology, any person who purchased one of the higher end tickets will recieve at the convention a "free hand signed autogrpahed photo from one of the stars who could not attend."
Not worth 300 bucks - not by a long shot!

I don't blame them… It sounds like they made commitments based on the filming schedule being one thing, and then it was changed on them. Sound familiar? Summit likes to fuck with filming schedules which puts other commitments in jeopardy. Too bad it's the fans who keep getting fucked.

Peter Facinelli didn't turn up to the london film and comic con in july, I had booked tickets costing me loads to get a photo with him, its something about the twilight cast, they are so unreliable

personally, i'd rather have them filming eclipse than having the small percent chance of seeing them for 2 seconds and a slight possibility of getting a picture with them at some convention filled with screaming tweens..
I was supposed to be going on Saturday and it sucks that something I’ve been looking forward to for 6 months isn’t going to happen but there’s nothing anyone can do about it and there's no use blaming any of the cast members. These people put in a lot of time to do these tours and are genuinely kind to the intense twilight fans that bombard them in Vancouver and LA. If anyone should be blamed it's creation entertainment for scheduling these things during Eclipse filming.
Kellan was at TwiCon in Dallas, but Ashley pulled out 2 weeks prior to shoot a fitness magazine thing. I honestly wouldn't count on her to show up to any of the conventions. (Not that I blame them for pulling out due to Eclipse filming…bad timing all around.)
I'm sure they got a refund.
I went to a Star Trek convention (and Leonard Nimoy was FAR FAR better than anything as stupid as Twilight), and I don't understand why their SCHEDULED appearances that were clearly booked way in advance couldn't have been pushed thru. It's ONE friggen day, fly them in, fly them out, 24-36 hours wasted that's it! Give me a break, so lame!
They couldn't come to BE IN THE STUPID MOVIE.
People should have gotten their money back but I don't think they should be reamed for DOING THEIR JOB!

OMG i actually bought tickets to see him in parisippany nj this weekend but ended up not being able to go, i ended up selling my tickets to see kellan lutz.. wow the person i sold the tickets too is gonna be PISSED!!!
