In the August edition of KUSH LA magazine, readers will happily find a coupon offering the first hundred holders a free 8th of marijuana to "new patients" who sign up at The Rainforest Collective in El Lay.
The second hundred people who visit and who also sign up with them get a free gram and anyone who shows up after that gets to spin the "420 wheel" for door prizes.

THC is what gets your high. 'high times" has similar "weed" they sell - it has next to no THC in it so it can be sold. You can have a pound of weed but if no THC is in it, you can't get in trouble. Law enforcement can put the smokage in a little vile of some sort and shake it up and it tests how much THC is in the buds.

"patients" have a legal prescription from an authorized Dr. and are free to buy at these dispensaries. not just anyone is allowed in. you have to first show your ID and license that you get from a Dr. they will then "verify" you are legit and legal by making a call, and then you enter the room. most dispensaries have offers like this. and it is REAL marijuana to the know-it-all, RobPnMeShouldB

I'm an actual medical marijuana patient and i have been to the rainforest collective. this is legal and there is thc on the marijuana, but it is only for patients. if you do not have a doctor's reccommendation, you can't get the weed. simple as that.

They (medical) also dispense THC in a little bitty round capsule which looks like a fish egg. That is so it doesn't look like a street drug. BUT the medical peeps have found that THC works best inhaled and Not in pill form. So they are trying an inhaler. How funny huh? Anything so it doesn't look like a joint. Just legalize the shit for God's sake. It grows like a weed… naturally anyway.
And PS… yes, I'd like some free weed, please.
And one more thing: Many people don't get stoned on pot… it makes them normal with no real side effects at all… other than craving that gallon of ice cream topped with crushed potato chips.

Medical Marijuana IS legal in CALIFORNIA
Most dispensaries give out a free "gift" for first time members. However, you must be a medical marijuana patient. In San Diego, proposition 215 now allows the opening of dispensaries. For those of you who have never tried weed, their are two different kinds: Setivas & Indicas. Each will give you a different high (mental or physical) depending on what you use it for.
However, I think the purpose of Perez's post was to show what a great deal this is…
