Leo Really Wants An Effing Oscar

Three nominations and no wins means Leonardo DiCaprio is stepping up his game to snag himself an Oscar.
We're hearing that for his next role, Leonardo DiCrapio is gearing up to get super skinny so he can appear "emaciated" in a pivotal scene. Insiders from the flick, Inception, written by Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan, say that Leo is taking this role very seriously and he will do whatever needs to be done to pull it off.
But don't worry about poor Leo going too extreme. The insider observes: "Leo isn't the kind of guy who can just lose a radical amount of weight… He's following a strict diet and is embarking on a rigorous workout regime… Leo's a pretty determined kind of guy, when he sets his mind to things he always achieves them. Though this is going to be hard for him, you can guarantee he'll succeed."

With that being said, Christoph Waltz of Inglourious Basterds might take home an Oscar, and he's never even been nominated for an Oscar.
It must hurt a bit to see people suddenly get the Oscar.

I used to have my doubts about Leo's acting. Then I bought & watched the Basketball Diaries on DVD. It was his best performance ever. IMO. That movie still haunts me. I can understand why a lot of people blamed it for what happened at Columbine though. But that's another story. It was part of the book anyway.
Leo is so good looking it's almost like they don't WANT to give him an Oscar because a lot of people like him based solely on his looks. But he really is a good actor! He was really young in Gilbert Grape and he should have got one then. He will always be super duper sexy Jack to me though - I thought he was so hot when Titanic came out…and I was like six!

Leo makes 20 mill a movie, works with the best directors(Scorsese, Spielberg, Ridley Scott) and has been nominated for 3 Oscars… compared to Bale's 0 Oscar noms. Leo is considered the star of his generation, Bale is being type cast as the hero(Batman begins, TDK, Terminator 4, Public enemies, Killing pablo, etc).
