According to The Sun, Tori Amos believes that Lady Gaga's popularity is fleeting, as she doesn't see the pop star playing on the same bill as veteran rocker Neil Young in twenty years.

It's actually not silly speak. If you were educated and/or read these things called books, you would know that during times of economic crisis, the entertainment industry flourishes. Things that are relatively inexpensive and provide instant gratification such as musical recordings, movies, concerts and television see a rise in sales during these hard times. And it IS because people are depressed. People need something to make them feel happy in times of despair. You'd find evidence of this all throughout history if you did actually decide to educate yourself before you subject the world to your stupid opinions…yet AGAIN. I know you're busy coming up with “clever” slogans for t-shirts that you can sell to idiots that long to be a part of something they’re not, but I implore you to educate yourself before forming an opinion about things you know nothing about.

This "fast food" style of music will not last for long if you happen to be the fried chicken in the centre of it. Tori is a fine wine who gets better with age and continues to tour the world at 46… not something Gaga will be doing at that age!
