Admit it or not, though it has been deemed unreliable, we all use Wikipedia. With more than thirteen million articles in a variety of languages, contributed and edited by the world, it has become one of the biggest web phenomenas in Internet history.
But what exactly are people looking for on Wikipedia? Surprisingly, they are looking for Wiki!
According to the website Wikistics, this year's most-viewed Wikipedia article was actually Wiki!
Among the other most viewed topics were Michael Jackson (#3), Barack Obama (#7), Sex (#21), Swine Flu (#29), and Lady GaGa (#27).
Some of the results were really surprising. Like, how did Adolf Hitler get more views than Twilight ( #17 vs #43). And why are so many people looking up Vagina (#36)?

Everyday when I go on the computer I open 4 tabs and one of them is Wikipedia! I love it!
Twilight is a FADDDDDD, thats why hitler has more searches because regardless of how good or bad he was he left a mark on world history somthing twilight will not do.

I can't believe anybody would be stupid enough to ask why Hitler has more hits than Twilight. Hitler killed millions of people. Twilight is a crappy book series. Hilter made a impact on the world (not a good one but still) that will be around probably as long as humans are. Twilight will surprise me if it's around next year.

Wikipedia isn't unreliable! I've tried to change it soo many times, without siting a source and they always change it back.
And if you look, there are tiny numbers above some sentences, you can click on them and they have a reliable TRUE source.

You know I pretty much wiki'd everything on that list except for vagina and masturbation I already knew about that, but no I wiki'd wiki because I wanted to see what it said you know it was one of those that's ironic searches or one of those I'm drunk lets look it up searches. It's fun. Haha and I think Hitler probably got looked up because of movies like Inglorious Basterds or people having to write papers about him.

Perez, the reason Hitler has more hits than Twilight is because people use wikipedia to study for tests/write papers. I couldn't have survived hs/college without it, as terrible as that sounds hahaaaa.

Wow i am shocked that a lot of you have used Wiki for papers for hs/college. My profs strictly forbid it from being cited. I just use it when i need to look something up when i am not citing sources. I have to agree. Hilter has left a bigger impact on the world and is more important than Twilight will ever be. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Yes, I've used Wiki many times. You can usually trust information that is cited from a reputable source. Vagina is no surprise - there are a great number of men in the world that are grossly sexually deprived. The number one group of deprived men are from India. It could also be women looking to learn more about what's going on down there, and if they should consider themselves "normal" - a lot of women worry about that. Just my guesses.

Um Wikipedia has not been deemed as unreliable by anyone who has any credibility. 95% of all false edits are fixed within 30 minutes. The only people who get fooled by the pranks are people who have no common sense.
I write this as someone who regularly edits any mistakes I see on Wiki. I swear the booked-encyclopedia lobby is trying to discredit Wikipedia or something.
