The 57-year-old was spotted Thursday in New York City, filming with Al Pacino on the set of their latest flick, You Don't Know Jack.
The movie deals with the life of assisted suicide advocate Dr. Jack Kevorkian.
But, seriously, Goodman needs to go on a diet and fast. For his own good.
He should ask for a trainer and meal delivery as part of his contracts!

i actually can't believe john goodman is only 57. my dad is 62, 1/4 his size, and almost in better shape than me — and many people will validate he looks no older than 50. he works an 8-7 day or often longer monday - friday yet still manages to work out on our elliptical at 5 a.m. every morning, religiously, and especially now watches his food choices. and we are not one of those families with genetically fast metabolisms. i know everyone's situation is different, but seriously john. join a gym, talk to a nutritionist, have some dedication. you'll see the difference.

You never see really fat old men, not as big as this. He will die from his obesity. It's not too late John - try ALTERNATE dieting, 24 hours on - 24 hours on the diet, 24 hours off. That way your body never goes into starvation mode and yet you'll lose a lot of weight. People who can't handle regular prolonged dieting can usually do the alternate diet.
