WWE's Rey Mysterio Suspended!

We assume he finally failed a drug test!

World Wrestling Entertainment just released the following statement regarding one of their most popular competitors:

"In accordance with WWE's Wellness Program, effective Wednesday, September 2, Oscar Gutierrez (Rey Mysterio) is suspended for 30 days for a violation of the company’s policy."

He should use his time wisely and get off the 'roids!

      For the record, and I am not condoning his actions, Mysterio was suspended for marijuana. It was the second time iot had been found in his system recently. The wrestlers are given random tests, literally being handed a cup and told to pee, on the spot. It is monitored by a WWE rep. The roid issue has become almost non-existent, with the WWE actions being so closely monitored by the Government. But, marijuana is still popular, unfortunately…Having once worked as a private security contractor I can say I have seen the behaviour of wrestlers actually inprove over the recent years. Stupidity, unfortunately, still seems to happen…Disappointing. Way to show your kids the difference between right and wrong Rey…

      Steroids just don't make ya huge- Most of the wrestlers took them for recovery not just to "get big". But- I did hear the same thing about the weed. Its nice to see them enforcing this policy, I just wish they would use it to test the Creative Dept for it because the product SUCKS nowadays. It has to be their only excuse.

      "The recently suspended Rey Mysterio Jr. sat down for an interview with Mexico's newspaper, "The Record". Rey claims he was innocent and that his situation was handled poorly by the WWE.

      Rey states that he was taking a prescription for knee and arm injuries which caused an elevated level on his test. He has a legal prescription for the medication but was unable to provide a "doctor's clearance' by the imposed WWE deadline.

      Rey was overseas promoting SummerSlam directly after his return from 3 weeks of vacation. Upon his return to the States, WWE's Dr. Black says that if Rey's doctor doesn't clarify his prescription that he would be suspended.

      But the WWE suspended Rey anyways despite his efforts to get his doctor to clarify things within the deadline. Rey claims that the prescription medicine is taken orally. and that he can easily clarify this.

      He doesn't want the public to think bad of him or that he took anything illegal. Rey also reports that he passed 15 drug tests in the last year and he only failed this one which he happens to have a legal and medical reason for the failed test."

      i love rey mysterio number one fan right here and reys suspension is completely devestating to me i personally believe that he was unfairly suspended he had a prescription and had proof of it but they sent him on promotion for wwe get money but when he gets back isnt given enough time to get his proof good job wwe he got your money for you in the ik for promotion and wont even give him the time to show you he aint doin anything wrong whatever just do him dirty again he is still the best wrestler now and has ever been viva rey

      LISTEN FUCKFACE FAT-TARD, just because a wrestler is suspended, does NOT mean steroids is to blame!!!! Take Jeff Hardy–google him, since you obviously know nothing about wrestling. He's been suspended twice already for painkillers and pot. Rey Mysterio is one of the most popular and well-respected guys in the business, he's never failed a drug test until now. Obviously, this is something that was misunderstood.
