Blink 182's Touching Tribute To DJ A.M.

The band took a moment to honor Adam at their concert in Hartford, CT, on Saturday night.

An emotional Mark Hoppus broke down in tears as he spoke about the passing of their friend.

Check it out (above).

I was there, they were great but this moment was so sad. They showed Tom's face up close on the monitor right after the moment of silence and it looked like he was crying pretty hard. Everyone was pretty fucking annoyed by the people yelling, they were being extremely disrespectul, but most people stayed quiet and brought out their lighters. It was a really touching moment, I almost cried. Rest in peace DJ AM.

fuck you. let's see how you do after being in a plane crash that kills several of your closest friends and puts you in critical health.

and you know what? people are holding tributes to lost soldiers every day. these guys lost a dear friend. they're allowed to grieve.

I just noticed something weird - Blink has a song about a suicidal friend called Adam's Song. I know DJ AM (adam) didn't kill himself, but I just thought that was a little ironic

I was there last night too and I was choking up myself. After Mark had said something I felt like Tom didn't sound anything like himself. Also, being a fan of blink for yearssss, they definitely didn't make as many funny gag jokes as normal. But it was still an amazing show otherwise!

A DJ is like a tampon: forgettable and replaceable. Move on people, he didn't cure cancer.

    12. 112

Touching. But let's be clear here. He was just another lost sole who couldn't handle life. He had it in the palm of his hands for God sake!! He was given another chance after that plane crash. What does he do? He says fuck it. I'll do what I want. I'll just fuck my life up. Who cares? Well I'm sure his family cares a great deal!!!! People like him are a waste of space. That's one less moron breathing the same air I breathe. Next!!!

    13. 113

      Wow…. so sad…life is just to short…

Re: Brainbug – DJ AM can never be replaced. He was one of the best DJ's ever. And no he didn't cure cancer, but neither did you, so do you want people to just move on after you pass? I don't think so, so just shut up cuz you have no clue what your talking about.
