We can barely remember, it was so long ago!
Well, judging by the pictures from Jon's party at Wet Republic in Las Vegas on Saturday, we confidently say there is now no turning back for Gosselin.

So it is ok for her to go on book tours months at a time to make money (of which she spends A LOT on herself, but it is not ok for him to make appearances to make money? Who is to say he is not socking away some of it for his kids? Plus, she cut him off from the show money, so how else is he going to live? Look at the big picture before being so quick to judge.

He is more interested in new girlfriends

is such an asshole. When you have 8 kids
you come last they come first. Even if you
have 1 kid. He needs to grow up.
If you go back through the shows… you see a woman who was desperate and frustrated. Jon lost his job when she had the twins. Kate got him the job with the government and he got FIRED for using the computer for obsessive personal use. Porn! Then a family friend gave him another job and he was also let go. He has been fired from all of his jobs. The guys is a lazy no good sleeze. Kate has been keeping the whole thing together and Jon under a tight reign knowing he would screw up the money from the TV show… and gee look what he is doing without Kate controlling him. This is NOT a guy breaking free… this is a guy who always wanted to be free and never wanted any responsibility… let alone a family.
In January there is an interview of Jon in Utah…. where he rode his motorcycle and let Kate take the kids by herself on the plane. Then he stayed buy himself and partied after Kate and the kids went home. She has been covering for him and not telling the whole story. He was screwing around on her as early as January this year. Plus he was abusing drugs and alchohal. Kate has been keeping it all a secret to save the show and keep the money coming in to raise the kids.
That is why Kate must divorce him. She got total control of the finances and has 60% custody. He needs the money to pay for his NY apartment that is why he is doing the douche LA Shiz. She may get total custody if he keeps this up.
You can see Jon yell at her while she is PREGNANT at the hospital…being snide and telling her rudely not to freak out .. She was about to give birth to six kids!!
He has no sympathy or kind words to comfort her. Ever see him be kind to her and try to calm her. NO… he just tells her to take the stick out of her butt… Jon can be very abusive when the cameras are not around. He totally ignores he ignores the TLC crew.. this guy just wants to be free to party… he is very selfish… how many times did he buy things that HE wanted but the kids could do? Camping, bicycles, electric toy cars. When he is at the house he just roars around on the three wheeler and goes and talks to the fans and paps at the gate…. while the nannies feed his children. He can't plan a single event… he doesn't look forward.. it is all about him and want he wants now… very inmature very selfish…
Really sad this guy never stepped up. He is a terrible role model and father.

There was an episode where the kids are learning to roller blade and ….they are out on the street together and Jon just suddenly takes off down the street..with the kids trying to catch up to him..and they can't and they start crying… one of them falls but he is wizzing down the street ignoring his crying children and Kate… plus they were in danger… and he just kept rolling…
You can watch the show alot and see how disengaged Jon is. waaaa back… she needs his help ….. she is the one planning and thinking ahead.. he doesn't respect her talent and hard work and ability to plan and organize…
Never once do you see him praise her for making a good meal.. and doing such a wonderful Job of raising those kids… Jon is just showing his true colors.

Why is he a douche?? He made a paid appearance at a club (lots of celebs with kids do that) and it wasn't his time for custody? WTF is he supposed to be doing? Hanging out in east bum fuck pennsyltucky? Don't you think Kate was a douch for not being in the pennsylvania area instead of going on Larry King and the talk shows complaining about her life?
He only wanted to put the crooked houses in the woods so he an excuse to play with his tractor. Really… have you seen how far away that is? Kate was right they needed to be much closer.
Screwing and partying with your babysitter? Letting her bring her kid to work? Maybe with one child but with EIGHT? Jon is clueless and a danger to his children. Notice how much calmer Kate is with the bodyguard.. he and his wife are family friends and you can see this is a smart take charge guy. I really hope Kate finds a Man and doesn't fall for another Boy!

About Kate abused Jon, some facts about spousal abuse, the abused spouses are usually emotionally dependent on the abusers and often feel extremely guilty and fearful to leave the relationship. In this case, I do -not- see that extremely guilty or fearful signs from Jon, if any it is the opposite by being gloating, which is uncharacteristic of an abused person.

The abusers also have common characteristics such as low self-esteem, place blames on the other spouse and poor communicator. These are not Kate’s characteristic. In fact, Jon poses more characteristics’ trait of an abuser than Kate does.

Holding things in and then exploding… and then ranting on and on about a whole months worth of stuff they are upset about. It is too bad that Jon didn't take anger management. Apparently they did counselling, but if you don't get a good one, they can make things worse. Plus.. I get the feeling Jon is not ready to take responsibility for his own feelings and blames things on others.

Re: Blippp63 – I am not sure if she alienated them or they alienated her. Jon talks about how her own parents do not have a relationship with ANY of their 19 grandchildren. Her Dad is a Pastor at a church. Early on in the first show.. Jon is abusive to Kate.. she points it out very fast and shuts it down.. Jon seemed to just keep it in when the cameras were on. You can bet he explodes when they are gone. Did you see the Larry King lawn rebuttal? Jon is all.. if Larry wants answers I'll give him answers. I've seen the show, I've seen how passive aggressive he is. I've seen how bored he acts with the kids. I've seen the dazed and confused look on his face when he's supposed to be taking care of the kids. He didn't allow them to be kids and get messy… he allowed them to go wild. I know how it feels to be Kate. Doing what is necessary to take care of kids while dad fails at providing for the family. I've seen his abuse, how impatient he was with Kate. How he rolled his eyes when she said something. I know what it's like to take care of kids while my husband is off doing his own thing, partying, cheating.
