    Re: squashie – If you watch the one on YouTube its a bit easier to hear. Yeah, they are laughing- but it kinda seems like good editing. I think they are laughing that their dad sucks so bad when he got up there. The way the segment was pieced together comes across like it was meant to give the empression that was what his daughter were laughing at. If you notice, at the beggining when he is being interviewed, he has the same bulge going on. I seriously think that he has a hernia and they made the segment out to be what they wanted it to be. The judges/audience didnt realize what was really wrong with him, and the video editing crew ran with it.

    Re: Rodsgirl76 – Fair point (sound *is* terrible!) but surely the X-Factor would be leaving themselves open to some sort of litigation if it is a hernia. (If it is an erection I'm sure some lawyer somewhere in Britain could sue them for embarrassment anyway, not sure if contracts are signed or what they say at that point. Surely it'd be discrimination if it was a hernia though…)

    When my husband and I were in Europe, I noticed a lot of the men looked like they had mushroom caps stuffed in their slacks. I just assumed it may be less common to don underware when you are oversees. He was probably not randy. Probably just wore the wrong pants for the lighting, etc.
