Paula Did Not Leave Idol Due To $$$$?!
As much as we love to hear her slur her words, she never really gets to the point!
Paula Abdul claims that the reason she stepped down from the American Idol judging table was NOT due to money, although she doesn't give any other reason.
“I had to stand on my principle,” Abdul tells TV Guide. “I’m going to miss the experience of watching young talent evolve into a place where they get to take off and soar."
Or fall into the abyss?!
She continues, "I stand on principle where many people stand on money. I’m a hard-working artist. I’ve lasted in this business for 23 years. And you can’t do that unless you are good at what you do.”
Paula may not have an answer, but she definitely has confidence to back it up!
“I believe in myself and you have to have your own self respect," she says. "And sometimes decisions are very difficult to make, but I’ve always believed that at the core I’m a survivor. There’s not one thing I’ve done that I’ve really set my mind to that I’ve failed at.”
Oh yeah! Whatever happened to her Bravo reality show?!
But, Abdul does have some goals in mind for the future.
“I definitely want to do a talk show because it would be different. It would be a lot of fun variety with a ton of unexpected stuff and tributes to everyday people getting their big chance.”
So eloquent! Paula's talk show would be amazeballs!

She's lying. This is just a publicity front to save her image. There's no point lying. I mean, most people are on her side that she should have gotten somewhere around Simon and Ryan's pay, and AI won't offer her that.
I think she will be great on Dancing with the Stars as a judge. I don't know why she doesn't want to do it.

I do not watch American Idol that much just lost intrest in it. But I do think she is lying. I kind of think she wants to keep this up and get got pubilicty for it cause I think people are starting to forget cause really I only knew her as the American Idol Judge and nothing else. Simon and Randy already have names for themselves besides that. I think she just wants to be the talk of the town so she lies.
She really is talented! I don't think she left Idol because of the money either, I think the principle she's talking about is that they gave RYAN and others much more money than her! She was part of that show when it opened and helped build it! I think Idol is sexist and so wrong! How can Ryan get more than her? Please!

What Ryan and Simon are being paid is absolutely insane! Their 2 salaries alone could bail out the country! Ok, just kidding…but c'mon, be fair, give Paula enough of a raise to hold her head up and play with the boys.
As far as I'm concerned, they're all a bunch of GOONS. I watched the first couple of seasons, then lost interest.
The guest judges will do fine, but the chemistry and rhythm of the show will be lost. I guess we'll see what happens. Well, I won't see…I haven't watched in years anyway.
I think Paula "made" American Idol, and I doubt that I will watch it anymore after her departure……………….I do not like the new female on the show…………she adds nothing.
