Listen To This: Blast It Up!

It's amazing how one song can turn everything around!

We really weren't that into British singer V.V. Brown after hearing hearing her first couple of British singles.

We liked her but we dind't really LIKE her.

Well, we are loving loving loving her latest release, a jam by the name of Game Over.

It has so much attitude! And it just exudes fierceness!!!

This is a song that needs to be listened to at full volume! And, preferably as you're ripping up pictures of your nasty ex!

Check out V.V. Brown's Game Over (above).

P.S. If they release her album in America, THIS should be the first single!

Update: Her album is coming out in the U.S. (via Capitol in January). Good for her! And this has to be the first single!

    4. 4

      blablabla

    5. 5

I expected to hate it simply because your taste in music sucks mario…but it's ALRIGHT !

    6. 6

for once i actually agree with perez, ive always liked her voice but i felt that crying blood and leave were a bit soso as songs, shark in the water was better and this is awesome!

    7. 7

She's copying GAGA with those outfits, except hers look better, or she's better at pulling them off. I did like the video, and the song is OK.

    8. 8

      NO!

    9. 9

this is just mediocre - not fierce ! her costumes look dreadful…why on earth would a sexy starlet wear an outfit meant for a roman soldier? that's just ridiculous. she's no lady gaga and she has neither the style or the pop stylings of rihanna or madonna.

My Perezcious does not have a nasty ex. Instead, the Perezcious rips up pictures of his former obsessions who have found his advances laughable.

    11. 11

Love the song. The video is a little crazy but thumbs up to her for being up for dressing up like a fawn lol

    12. 12

LOL what a piece of shit song…although it's better than that cow doodoo that SLIMEY passes as music

    13. 13

      I like!

no thank you, I'm not a fan of this song

    15. 15

this song is not all that!!!!wtf

    16. 16

I LOVE VV Brown! She's the best! especially this and Shark in the water. She exceeds (in her own way) alot of the British solo women we've had in the past few months. VV and Pixie Lott are my faves :)

    17. 17

ITS A BRITISH INVASION!!!!!!!!!!! The Sugababes, Girls Aloud, Little Boots, The Saturdays and VV Brown are all going to take over america

      VV has an awesome hairstyle

    18. 18

I thought she was FIERCE! It was WAY more intriguing than any of lilly allens music videos! I'd love to hear what her music sounds like once america's entertainment industry had their hands on her!

    19. 19

      I love VV Brown.

    20. 20

      NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    21. 21

She looks like a wanna be Lady G to me!

    22. 22

I hope all these bitches (Lady Gaga first and foremost) know they need to be paying respect to Grace Jones. She paved the way for this shit and is still slaying them at over 60 years old.

    23. 23

A bit of Grace Jones, actually a LOT of Grace Jones video ideas were copied here… some Nina Hagen, some Lady Gaga.. extremely easy and boring song.. nothing original.

    24. 24

no. not good. absolutely nothing special about this.

    25. 25

Why do you only like British singers and not U.S singers? She's OK but she is blatantly ripping off singers like Beyonce' and throwing a little Amy Winehouse (I know she's British) in there. This is mediocre bullshit. I can't understand why you would big this up but hate on Mariah Carey's new music.

    26. 26

I love this! Absolutely splendid. And if anyone knows anything about culture, you'll know this isn't Lady Gaga-inspired. It's pure Grace Jones and Vivienne Westwood. Lady Gaga is a differant sound entirely…you guys are kinda funny. :s

    27. 27

wow the video is fierce !!! very editorial high fashion

    28. 28

      Yes yes yes!!!

      Finally your listening :)

She is incredible and makes incredible music.

Going to see her in November ^_^

    29. 29

he i thought it was kimora lee singing

    30. 30

      Pretty good

    31. 31

      Fail for AMERICA!

    32. 32

She is very beautiful. I need to replay the song to hear it better.

    33. 33

      British Gaga?

    34. 34

      Re: LeFleur

Not a Roman soldier - she's dressing up on various takes on a British theme - the tall helmet with the long horsetail is a British military outfit (a Household Cavalry/Blues and Royals/Horse Guards helmet - check Household Cavalry on Wikipedia for a pic), and the chainmail outfit with the helmet is a medieval British knight's armour - no Roman soldiers there! So there is method behind her madness. And besides, would it matter if she did dress up as a Roman soldier? Since when did pop videos have to make sense??!

    35. 35

Here you go again promoting utter crap music… dear god..HELP…

Go get your ears waxed ,before you listen to the one who sounds like a bird being tortured, strangles, asphyxiated.. yes Kylie Minogue heading Perez way soon… FFS your taste is dire.

What is it with some ( not all by any means ) stereotypical gay men that they love such cak music..???????

    36. 36

      Re: stelleisonfire
You listen to commercial rubbish.Frances and Machine and Bat for Lashes are the only newbies worth a bob..and even that is a bit iffy…………………
Still bet you listen to Kylie which says it all for taste……….she has worst voice ever.

    37. 37

I prefer shark in the water.

      And she's amazing live.

    38. 38

Doesn't get to me musically, but fashion-wise a great opponent to Lady Gaga.
Or Missy Elliot (which owns both these artists in her early vids, but has been more sober in her looks lately).

    39. 39

gaga has really opened the doors in fashion and music combining. i give her a pat on the back and a kiss on the cheeck
thank you gaga for making our lives more interesting.
