Just days after the tragic death of ex boyfriend DJ AM, model Hayley Wood has released a statement, denying rumors that the couple's breakup caused his untimely passing.

Wood says:

"Any indication that this horribly tragic accident happened because of a rumored breakup is not only untrue but disgusting. We were very much together at the time of his passing, and I love him very much."

So sad.

      It's a shame what happened with DJ AM. He was doing so good, staying away from drugs until that plane crash. He was in so much pain he depended on medication which led back to his addiction. He was making a reality show about addiction also. Terrible. Only the good die young.

      I don't think that's fair. Put yourself in her position. The love of your life is gone, and people are saying that you broke up with him/her. She's heartbroken and on top of that, people are saying she's part of the reason he passed away. Even if I knew it wasn't true, I couldn't deal with that.

      Re: DonnaMartin – it's quite simple - he was due to play a gig but failed to turn up to get his flight, so his friend drove to his appartment and called the police as no one answered. maybe one of the friends was her?
      it has been reported that he hasn't been seen a few days - but does anyone really knows what was going on or how long he hasn't seen his girlfriend?
      there were also claims that he texted two of his friends hours before he was found dead - so i think it could be true quite well - and after all i feel sorry for her - either way. breaking up is never easy, but getting the guilt for the death somebody who took drugs and died is stupid - drug addicts have a tendency to die "unexpected".
      i'm just wondering why he was on drugs while they were still together, but oh well - i don't know crack and i don't know what it does to people (he seemed quite fit the week before he died).

      d.j.am used the plane crash as an excuse to use/relapse. His relapse would've happened with or without a plane crash. He made his living working in nightclubs, People. He might as well have been a drug dealer or a bartender.

      come on, DJ AM was an amazing dj, no matter what you say he was, he was a sweet and caring guy, and i had the priviledge of meeting him and he was amazing and i'll never forget those brief moments that we talked.
      she may not be what you think is 'beautiful' but she is, and he thought so and thats all that matters.

      when someone dies, people who looked up to them or who respected them do not need to hear shit like 'serves him right for taking drugs' or 'good ridance' or anything like that. death is a sad sad thing and people should respect that his fans are mourning.

      what has happened has happened and its incredibly sad. please don't make it worse by writing those hurtful things here. by all means have your own opinion but theres a time and a place for that.
