Glee Invades Your Ipod & Your Twitter

Fox is pulling out all the stops to ensure that their musical-dramedy, Glee, holds the attention of EVERYONE!

First, expect to see the first soundtrack of the show released through Columbia Records very soon. The disc will feature 17 songs from the hit show's first season, including Queen's Somebody to Love, Neil Diamond's Sweet Caroline, Kanye West's Gold Digger and Journey's Don't Stop Believin' (of course).

Then, get ready to take to your Twitter pages as Fox uses the social networking site to boost ratings on their repeat episodes. They are calling the events "Tweet-peats", where viewers can re-watch favorite episodes on the Fox network while getting the exclusive chance to talk to cast members and producers through Twitter.

This Friday, the network will re-air the Glee pilot with cast members Kevin McHale and Lea Michele among others Tweeting behind-the-scenes details and answering fan questions, which can be followed online and on-air via a Twitter scroll near the bottom of the screen.

      I liked the pilot a few months back but all this extra bullshit they're doing is a real turn off. Maybe they should spend more time improving the show instead of doing concerts.

      I am excited to watch it. I loved the pilot, what they are doing now doesn't really change my opinion of the show. :P

      I was excited about the show…but now they're pushing it so hard. Trying to make it an "Event" that I'm actually kind of burnt out on the show without ever even seeing the second episode.

      actually Glee is airing Wednesday, Sept. 5th at 8 pm EST, the Director's Cut. YAY!!
