How awesome is this????

Gloria Estefan's Mi Tierra was transmitted Tuesday morning up to the Discovery space shuttle from NASA's ground control!!

The song was radioed to outer space for Mexican American Discovery crew member, flight engineer Jose Hernandez.

NASA also used the opportunity to honor Miz Estefan on her birthday!

Gloria turns 52 today!

      Wow, this is how a real woman looks at her age and she is beautiful. Great song. But I can't help but think of that horror that was psoted of Madonna's new video which tries to portray as somebody younger, etc., who is able to rub their crotch for a camera. Total respect for Gloria, embarassment for Madonna's kids (one of whom was in the video).
