Gosselin ended up purchasing a ring called Heart of Fire: "It has .98 carats of diamonds and is white gold with two rows of stones," a source at the jewelry store dished.
The source thinks that Hailey "will be very impressed" by the ring, but we know who won't be impressed!

My wedding ring is 2 1/2 carats total, the center diamond being 1.75 carats. I would NOT be impressed with .98 carats in white gold. White gold sucks - it's just yellow gold covered in rhodium, a metal in the platinum family. It eventually wears off, especially along the bottom of the ring, and has to be dipped in rhodium on occassion. In other words, CHINTZY and CHEAP.
