MTV Moving Away From Reality, Bringing Back Teen Wolf!

MTV's reinterpretation of the Michael J. Fox 80's classic, Teen Wolf, may be coming to the small screen sooner than later!

The network, which is finally hopping off the reality television train, will be producing a pilot based around the 1985 flick which tells the story of "a teenager who discovers he is a werewolf."

MTV Senior VP of series development Liz Gateley says MTV's take on Teen Wolf will have "a fresh take" on the Teen Wolf story and is "very different" from the original film.

"It has more of an American Werewolf in Paris feel to it. It's a dramatic thriller with two best friends in the center who provide a great comedy element: They are two very relatable characters on the outer circles of popular cliques," Gateley revealed.

Would U watch the series???

Liz Gately can suck my figurative dick. If you want it to be American Werewolf. . .then do that! The only this similar between TW & AMIP is that they are both about Werewolves. THE END. I don't think either should be made into tv shows or movies, but that's me. I HATE REMAKES.

american werewolf in paris is a piece of shit. it would be one thing if they were trying to emulate american werewolf in LONDON but who in their right mind would want to make a show in the manner of its crap sequel…

i think for a cock-slobbering blogger with nothing else to do all day, you need to start CHEERY-PICKING your stories from around the web a little faster…. this news was announced early this morning. and your ghost-writing sister should put down her BIG MAC and type faster.

  21. 21

This is an absolute INSULT to the incredible actor that was Michael J. Fox. I hope he's doing okay these days.

  22. 22

I might actually watch the first epi and see if i like it

  23. 23

Sounds like Big Wolf on Campus to me…I used to love that show as a kid lol. In fact, im gonna go look it up. I hope its on youtube or something lol.

  24. 24

dunno, but love M J Fox!

  25. 25

Anything that's not a reality TV show about rich people is fine with me. When you can't even afford a can of Coke, do you really want to watch shows about people who have £20.000 stuck on their teeth? I sure don't. I wish MTV would get back to playing actual MUSIC.

  26. 26

I want a tee-shirt that says "What are you looking at Dick Nose"

  27. 27

Seriously? ABC Family (then FOX Family) had a show just like this called "Big Wolf on Campus" about ten years ago. This is not only unoriginal, but also completely foolhardy on behalf of MTV for it's not like they're known to put out quality television. Since when has MTV not been producing fictional programs? I don't think anyone could call their "reality TV" real when you can practically see the cue cards.
