After Michael Jackson's daughter Paris received her first haircut in Las Vegas this weekend, her security immediately collected the hair into a plastic bag!
WTF?!
According to the Daily Mail, the creepy hair bagging is a way to ensure that there will be no unwanted paternity testing.
It is been speculated that everyone from Macauley Culkin to Dr. Arnold Klein may be the father of these kids, so Paris' hair would be worth BIG $$$$$$ for DNA tests!
At just 11-years old, we wonder if she thinks this is normal!

It's no big deal.
It's actually a normal occurence to save a child's hair after a major haircut. I have a bag of my own hair from when I was 9 and had my long hair cut short, my daughter also has a bag of her hair. For the very first salon cut they will bag up the kid's hair and tape it to the back of a certificate. This is something most salons do. I don't know why….but they do.

You can't get the father's DNA from cut hair…there has to be root. Only the mothers - so that shows how smart her staff is.

i think that Dr.Klein is the bio father of prince…. that english actor is paris' bio father and idk about blanket.. his skin and hair is alot darker than the other two.. i think it would be great if he was really michael's bio son. But no matter what MJ will always be there "DAD" i wish them the best.

Whether or not the girl was MJ's blood daughter does not take away from him being her father. I am tired of all of this bullshit. Think about all of the adopted children out there. as far as i have learned hair alone contains only mitochondria which will only link to the mother of the girl - and i think we're all quite positive that this crazy bat is her mother - so actually no need to secure her chopped hair alone - the roots are what is more interesting.

When they use a sample of hair, doesn't it have to include the ROOT?
You can't get DNA from cut hair anyway. DNA is only stored in the root of the hair, and not all roots that fall out/are pulled out are perfect enough to provide a good sample for testing.

If she makes the decision to seek out a paternity test later in life, that's her decision. But it should NOT be forced upon her, especially not right now.

They should make a deal with the press like UK made for Prince William and his bother and leave the kids alone till they have 18/20 years old. They are missing their dad, living in another house, possibly with other ruls , food, etc. So many things to deal with and under a microscope like the media. This is very sad.

Paris is an absolutely beautiful tween! And looks so incredibly sad in this picture at her father's memorial. Like others have said, it is VERY common for a girls (and maybe boys) first haircut 'remains' to be bagged up and given to the girl.
I pray that these 3 beautiful children can be left alone for a while to grieve their fathers death. We all know that they will be followed and photographed for the rest of their lives. That's a given, no escaping it. They're Michael Jackson's kids. But hopefully for now, they'll get some peace until they're ready to face the world.
Oh and for those of you who don't think these could be MJ's bio kids…do you know who Rashida Jones is? She is Quincy Jones daughter. Quincy is a dark black man and her mom, Peggy Lipton, is a fair-skinned blonde white woman. Look Rashida up online and ask yourself, does she look like she has ANY african american in her?? I didn't think so. And no, Rashida is not adopted.
So YES it is very possible that all 3 are MJ's kids. Another thing, Paris had very curly hair as a toddler. She either straightens it herself or it has straightened due to the long length.

I think this is the silliest thing i ever heard, everyone knows that you can only get DNA , the largest part of the hair is the papilla, almost like a bulb at the base of your scalp; which has a matrix around it which is a collection of epithelial cells. You probably remember this term from CSI, and in which case, DNA can only be extracted by the hair being ripped out, so if they're worried about DNA, she must have been a really bad hair dresser to rip out some of her hair.It sucks that these poor kids have to be subjected to such paranoia, let these kids have a life.
