      Disease MY ASS. It;'s called lack of self control, lack of will power. If this ugly fat pig was just some middle class kid, without daddy's millions to fuel her habit, would she be the same person? No fucking way. She never had to work a day in her life for anything. It was all handed to her on a platter and like most rich kids who get everything, they become 'bored' easily. Their life must be SO hard.

      This is the end result of the Hollywood style of parenting; just give your fat ugly spawn everything they want their whole lives, never once expecting any responsibility from them, never once teaching them they must earn things in life, never once saying "NO" to their kids.       I think all of you commentors are mis-reading and misunderstanding her quote. Once an addict always an addict means that even when a person no longer takes drugs, they are still an addict. They have to be careful not to slip back into the dark dreary ways of being a chemical ingester. Being aware that you have an addictive personality is the first and most important step in becoming free from the grips of nasty processed drugs. Instead of slagging the woman, how about trying to be compassionate and positive, and not so jealous of her priviledged life.

      That is so true. My mom's an alcoholic. More often than not, when I mention it to friends, they don't realize that if she were to pick up a drink…she wouldn't be able to set it down and just walk away; she'd have to finish it.

      Did you only take this pill everyday without any effort to modify previous maladaptive thoughts or behaviors? Did you not make an effort to remove yourself from the people, places and things that you were surrounded by while you were addicted? If you did these things, then suboxone was not the "magic" pill that you tout it to be. Yes it does help a great deal, but you still need to put an effort forth to change your behaviors and thinking.
      For most people, this is a life long effort….though it gets easier.

      So no, you don't just take a pill and magically become sober.

      Actuality Kelly, if you had had NORMAL parents who were not drug addicts themselves, and who truly loved you, and disciplined you, you would not be a drug addict today. Your addiction lies squarely at the feet of your shitty parents. This is what happens when libitards raise children! Plus, there is a 'pill' you can take to cure your addiction. That is human responsibility and respect. Until you respect yourself as a human and take responsibility for your actions instead of expecting others to cure you, you will NEVER be free.       Re: dennyd – Hellz to the yeaa! Ive been on Suboxone for 2 years. Best decision I ever made was to go on that. Probably would have been dead by now if not for the subs. That Flips guy that was telling you the "definition" of suboxone just wanted to seem like a know it all. His response made no sense. Good to see another recovering addict who made the right choice on here! Gotta respect that!

I had tried EVERYTHING to get off drugs before suboxone. Nothing worked. I always went back. I've been on subs for 2 years and haven't turned back. Granted, since quitting drugs I have lost touch with all my old dealers and druggie friends. But that doesnt mean anything, man. If someone wants drugs..they will find them. That's an addict. If I were to take a pill or inject heroin right now, I wouldnt feel $hit. That is because the subs block it. They cut my cravings in half. They saved my life. Fool.
