Another tragic disappointment for children of the 80s or a happy reinvention for the children of today?

We're not sure, but this is the first look at the new, CGI stylin' Smurf from their new movie being released next year.

      Jeez pervez, I remember seeing photos of your "Smurf" Birthday party that your Mom set up for her little piggy. Of course a new Smurf movie will be much better, just as if your Mom had given birth to a normal dirt bag. Face it, when this movie comes out you'll be an ancient 32 years old.

      It's a dumb idea for a movie, but I can't criticize how the smurf looks. They stayed true to the way they looked in the cartoon. They didn't "reimagine" them or anything…it's pretty much just a 3-D version of the smurfs we all remember.
