Cate Blanchett Injured!

Cate Blanchett suffered a head injury during a live performance of A Streetcar Named Desire at The Sydney Theatre Company on Tuesday.
Ouch!!!!!
The actress was reportedly harmed by a prop radio thrown by fellow cast member Joel Edgerton.
The radio hit Blanchett in back of her head, drawing blood! She continued to act for 30 seconds more before running offstage.
Soon after the lights were turned on and the audience was instructed to leave the theater due to "technical difficulties."
We sure hope she's OK!

Yes i was there at last night's performance… and it happened within the first hour. There is a fight scene with Stella (Robin), Blanche (Cate) and Stanley (Joel) where Stanley roughly turns off the radio that Blanche has been dancing to and throws it out the window.
What happened was that the radio was picked up and slipped out of the Stanley's (Joel) hands and "plonked" Blanche (Cate) on the back of the head, whereas she fell to the ground on all fours AND CONTINUED TO CARRY-ON IN CHARACTER being hurt and scared as well as the rest of the cast.
Cate didn't "rush off stage" but continued on with the scene where she left the stage in character - it was a brilliant and wild scene by all.
Then there was an announcement saying "stop" and then "Joel can you leave the stage" cause he was the only actor left on the stage at this point.
Everyone in the audience saw and "heard" the radio hitting Cate on the head and understood the reasons why the performance was stopped… that's live performance for you!!! We were then told to leave and wait in the foyer; and then after about 15mins or so there was another announcement that the show was cancelled.
I've heard this morning that Cate is okay and will go on with tonight's performance.
Although i only saw one hour of the performace last night… it was a brilliant set, and fine performances by Cate, Joel Edgerton and Robin McLeavy and the rest of the cast.
