A lawsuit was filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court yesterday claiming that Girls Gone Wild founder, Joe Francis, is not guilty of the tax evasion charges against him, but rather he was framed by a former employee.
Finally, he hired someone to concoct him a viable story!
As it goes, Joey boy's legal team is claiming that a former CPA, Michael Barrett, "embezzled millions of dollars from Mantra Films, the Joe Francis-owned company that produces the Girls Gone Wild videos" by creating several fake companies to filter money to. The accountant then turned around and headed straight to the IRS, making false accusations of fraud against Joe to cover his tracks.
Apparently, the evidence presented is rather "compelling" and so, this story might actually be true.
Sounds like good news for the d-bag.
Perhaps, sometime soon, he'll be back out on the streets, with pride, as he tricks girls into showing their boobies again!
