The US currently and Germany just prior to the Nazi's taking over are very similar - it shows that people can only be pushed so far before they take action (whether it be good or bad). One of the most important changes Hitler made was to take back control of the financial industry (which they saw as Jewish dominated - see the parallel?). This brought inflation in check and allowed economic growth. This action was unforgivable by the banking elite and one of the reasons why Hitler was demonized LONG BEFORE he started any war.

I don't understand why people can't separate the fact that Hilter was a very evil man, with the fact that he must have been pretty dang brilliant to pull of the manipulation of the Eastern part of Europe. Brilliance IS synonymous with intelligence. Hitler and Castro were brilliant men in the sense that they knew how to play on people's emotions and manipulate them into followers - Hitler, especially. He was an incredible, fluent, charismatic speaker. Look it up - English teachers and majors can appreciate the talent that Hitler had for giving a speech and rallying his soldiers and followers. Do your research - most leaders like Hitler and Castro were evil geniuses.
That being said, both leaders were psychotic and flat out evil. They were immoral and sick, and I hate to think that they (Hitler especially) were able to go on for so long doing what they did. I am not belittling the horrors that anyone experienced under the reign of such evil men. I really do feel for those whose lives were lost and/or affected during such times.

The funny thing about this is that when people talk smack about other religions & countries (for instance Islam & the Middle East), it's total okaaaaayy yet when it comes to saying something as simple as I think Hitler was brilliant, the Jewish countries must immediately retaliate!
