Can't wait for the show to start up again but true… I can't believe it's actually coming back for a new season.

i'm a huge oth fan, but i think its run its course. the first 4 seasons were phenomenal… but that whole time warp thing was crap… and now, without lucas and peyton? lucas and peyton MADE the show! lucas, peyton and nathan… those were the 3… i know that tv series get new cast members throughout their run, but to get rid of 2 of the main people (or for them to leave… whatever happened…) and have all these newbies 7 seasons in? seems like they should have just ended it last season.

I can't wait to see what kind of cheesey excuse the script writers come up for Lucas and Peyton to be gone. Obviously the studio is still there. Let me guess Peyton and to join Mia on tour or go to LA or some assiness like that? And of course Lucas had to go because well he doesn't have a real job or anything. Bleh lameness. This series should've ended back after the 4th season. I still can't believe the CW renewed this horse shit series over Veronica Mars. If a time fast forward would've worked anywhere it would've worked with Veronica Mars not One Tree Hill. Yet this is the CW.
Antwon Tanner was never scheduled to be in this episode. He never filmed scenes for it. He will be in the next several.

Skills will be on the show dumbass! And yeah OTH is the best show ever so of course it's still on the air. OTH, Supernatural and Smallville are the highest rated shows on the CW. Yeah that's right, rated higher than 90210 and Gossip Girl.

I used to be the biggest fan of this show back in the day but damn….it needs to go already. 7 seasons of this shit? What more can they possibly show? Sorry CW…the Haley singing storyline has always been retarded, the chick's voice is NOT that good and her songs are always lame. James Lafferty is not hot anymore. The only good thing about the show (that was always the best thing) is Sophia Bush and any storyline related to her.

I live in the town this show is filmed. I have watched this show since season 2. I think the time warp was the best thing that ever happened to OTH. I am tired of 28 year olds playing 18 year olds. At least they fast forwarded and we didn't have to do the college crap that Dawson's Creek did. The show has been great since the fast forward. Perez, if you don't take the time to watch the show, then don't take the time to bash it either. BTW, the show doesn't need Peyton and Lucas as long as Sophia Bush is there. Also, Kate Voegle and Stephen Colletti will be back, so yay!
can't fucking waittt. to everyone asking who watches this show: obviously people are watching if it's gone this far…try giving it a shot. it's really good and it probably got even better with the annoying guy who plays lucas gone. as long as they keep sophia bush, they are golden. oh, and oth writers, PLEASE stay away from weird soap operaish story lines (like nanny carrie and shit like that). they don't pop up too often, but when they do, it totally kills the show for me
i have been a faithful OTH fan. even though last season was not so great, i still watched. and i still bought it on dvd the other day. but i'm so not thrilled to watch this season. i mean, i was…until i saw this. i knew hilarie left, but i didn't know chad left. my prediction is that it's really gonna suck now without their story line. *sigh*

Actually, Chad Michael Murray was the one asking for too much money. The CW wasn't willing to pay up, and they didn't want to keep Peyton without Lucas.
One Tree Hill will not be the same without Lucas and Peyton =(.
That being said, Brooke, Hayley and Nathan are still there and Rachel is coming back (so I've heard), so I'll still be watching.

I freaking love this show i think that it sucks that Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton are no longer going to be on it.. i think that their story was one of the best! oh well i will keep having my OTH nights!!!

i'm from the charlotte area and even though they like to pretend we have things to offer besides not so great nba and nfl teams, WE DONT so maybe they can bring a few tourists in by using this show as an outlet. because besides a whitewater center, we dont have jack besides lowe's motor speedway and being the filming location of talledega nights.

haley is HORRIBLE character these past 2 years. Peyton is my fave, and Haley was a bitch in s5 to her then as soon as Lucas's girl left, Haley kissed Peyton's ass. Made me sick.
Last season was amazing. It was like the show came back to life. So ready to see if they can continue the momentum into this season.
I don't know anyone who even watches this anymore. Once you jump the shark it's time put things to an end. Please.

Actually I wasn't sure that the show should stay on air but I think that with the new characters, there is a possibility to take another direction with this show. Can be great, really. Peyton an Lucas were going nowhere so let's see what happens with new cast. If it fail, gonna be the last season but I hope it won't.
I started watching this show when they started airing it from the beginning on Much music a while back. It was pretty good actually but after they graduated highschool it should of been cancelled.
I have barely watched the last few seasons and I doubt I will watch this one at all.

Um Mark Schwahn and his team are amazing writers, for a person to create a series and write almost all the episodes for the show is brilliant. I'm so glad they came back for a 7th season. Whoo One Tree Hill FOREVER!:)

This is the best show on TV. If you actually watched it, you would know that. Sophia, James, Bethany and Paul are all amazing actors. I am so excited for this new season! Haley and Nathan were always my favorite characters, and I never liked Lucas. He was being selfish when he left the show because they didnt "pay him enough". Well, this season is going to be amazing and I cannot wait!

hmm. I too still watch the show just not every week. I loved the show until this season. I think they have seriosuly run out of ideas for the episodes. Its the same story line over and over again with different people in the middle of it. I will watch the season premiere only to see what they decide to do with the show now that two of the original main characters are gone. I mean the show we pretty much central to Lucas's life. I doubt it will be back after this season but i guess that depends on if they can find some new. fresh stories to go with it this season!
it's way too obvious that that voice is not really coming from that girl. it has been edited at least. that's the thing about this show- everything is just so perfect and amazing and the couples are soooo lovey dovey and and it's just not real enough.

I have been hooked on this show since day one. As the show says "the little train that could" It is a good show, great writing and story lines that mater. To be honest L&P were my two least fav people on the show, so seeing them go does not bother me at all. Everyone will have different views on this show, but until you spend your day watching a season, you have no clue what your missing. I spent almost 2 weeks watching season 1-6 and I can not wait for the next season to start.
As well I really enjoy the music side of the show. I think that really is her voice, she has an album out if I am correct? That song I think it will catch on, maybe she is not the best singer or pop star, but it can be catchy..lol Just my 2 cents….but people, watch it before you judge it, I mean if they did not jump ahead 4 years, we would have never been able to see that cute kid, god he is cute..lol

Personally I'm glad Peyton is gone Lucas I wouldn't have minded if he stayed or left but i hated peyton and her and lucas together made me a little sick in my mouth. So I'm glad their gone cus i don't have to fast forward most of the episodes that i remember to watch.

The network decided to change their time slot to 8 as a lead in for GG because it has a built in audience and GG can't compete with other networks in that time slot.

don't get me wrong I LOVE OTH , but honestly it would of been much better if it ended with Lucas & Peyton riding into the sun with baby Sawyer [honestly what kind of name is Sawyer Scott ?] Peyton made the show for me , with her gone there is no OTH for me . I agree the first 4 seasons were killer , 5 and 6 were a bit weak . 7 who knows , I'm still tuning in to see if there is anything worth watching , I'll probably just watch for a shirtless James Lafferty [Nathan Scott ]

Antwon Tanner is in the show, hes just not in that episode. and also, you cant judge one tree hill because you dont watch it. its obv gotta be good to be going after seven years. and it did take over the slot on mondays from your precious gossip girl. it gets more ratings then gossip girl. it prob will be different without leyton, but thats what new characters are for. brooke and julian have a good storyline. so dont be suprised that the show is still airing, cause its a good show. i havnt been watching from day one, but some people have, and theyre still hooked. although i have to admit, the haley singing storyline is getting old. and also, the storyline was just about lucas and peyton, but theres other storylines to cover that now. mia and chase are back so it'll be good.

It's like every show has stories of revenge, deception, lies, and lots of sex… and we like that so we watch it… but I like watching One Tree Hill because all that crap isn't like the focus focus of the show. Like it has it, but that's not what it's all about. Not like 90210 and Melrose Place.. Gossip Girls.. and crap where it's materialism popularity crap. BORING. BORING. BORING. I love OTH… reminds me of Dawson's Creek. And I like the fact that they fast forwarded the college part. I mean, every show goes down hill when they go to college. BORING!
