No one ever had an unkind word about DJ AM!
A day after his burial, hundreds of guests gathered at the Hollywood Palladium on Thursday night to pay their respects to the beloved celebrity deejay (aka Adam Goldstein).
Some recognizable faces in attendance included former fiancée Nicole Richie along with Lindsay Lohan, saMAN Ronson, Eric Dane, Rebecca Gayheart, Robert Downey Jr, John Mayer, Tom Arnold, Dr. Drew and Jon Favreau.
"He was my soulmate and now he is my soul," girlfriend Haley Wood told the crowd at the almost 3 hours service. "He is my amazing grace."
Adam will be greatly missed.

I think one of the telling comments was by an elderly neighbor of his, who said he was the kindest, most wonderful neighbor, and how much she would miss him.

I was talking to a pillhead yesterday and he said it is nothing for him to swallow 40 Oxycontins, go to sleep and still get up in the morning. I told this guy, "that is just crazy to me." He said, " he hates going a day without being on some kind of drug". I can't imagine life like that. I mean some marijuana or the occassional drink(which I don't drink when I have weed)is one thing but ingesting every and any controlled substance you can get your hands, everyday, just to function. I was there. And yes, it was supposed to be "anonymous" but I , nor I think anyone really thought that people were going to not talk about who was there and what was said..
I beg everyone, who was there and who wasnt , to please let Adam rest in peace and not try to trash him, I know no one really is, but people saying they were his sponsor and what not really irks me personally.. He has a guy he's been with for 11 years, and thats it.. Theyres all kinds of people going around saying they were his "mentor and sponsor" it is simply NOT TRUE.. Poor Adam. I will say , in the time they had to put it together, they did a wonderful job. It was a very well put together "goodbye" for AM.
His death saddens me. Lets not forget that addiction is a terminal disease and needs to be TREATED. People need to be not put down for having it, not made to feel like they are criminals . They are sick people.. Some try to seek help some dont. If you know someone, or if you are in the throws of addiction , PLEASE ASK FOR HELP! It's never too late, unless you die.. This should be a lesson learned by everyone.

Adam has peace now, so when we're sad over death it's really the people left behind we should be sad for. He can watch over all the people he cares about now. Opinion doesn't matter where he is. He was a well liked/loved person in life, so he will have peace. Not that I'm really religious, but I think (hope) it's true.
