Obama Is A Primetime Diva!
President Obama's approval rating may have decreased in the public eye, but no one is as hostile toward him as the broadcast networks.
Because he is costing them $$$$$!
As news broke of the president's plan to address a joint session of Congress regarding health care issues on primetime Wednesday, none of the Big Four networks have agreed to televise the speech live.
Definitely a change from the honeymoon period after his January inauguration!
The networks have become increasingly frustrated by the administration's insistence for primetime coverage as it forces them to rework their schedules and costs millions of dollars in lost ad revenue.
Fox became the first network to refuse airing Obama's April address after losing $6 million to reschedule American Idol for his second news conference in February. And it will sit it out again as it has too much at stake with the premieres of So You Think You Can Dance and Glee airing on Wednesday.
It has become such a hassle for the networks that the White House has negotiated a time change to better accommodate their viewing schedules, changing from 8pm to 9pm!
This never would have happened with George W!
Because the White House does not compromise with terrorists television networks!

To those of you commenting, thank you for educating the readers of this blog on both sides of the story. Please, TAKE IT EVEN FURTHER! Our comments need to go all the way to congress, the senate, and to Mr. Obama, who seems to have forgotten that he works for us, the American people. And, it is the will of the people that should prevail, not the will of an elected employee of the people.
Personally, I believe that Mr. Obama is still campaigning, trying to sell us on his visions of some "perfect society" that he (and his cronies) have created in their minds, even though he hasn't a clue how to actually do the job that he so skillfully campaigned to win. And, it's time to stop campaigning, and get down to the job at hand. Your 90 day probationary period as our new employee is up, and your first review by the American people wasn't so hot…in the real world, that means, if you want to keep your "job," shape up.

And I find it hilarious that people are going to keep their children from watching the President encourage our children to be a productive citizen and stay in school. Perhaps we should share it with both political parties in Washington, DC, and suggest that Democratic or Republican loyalties should be put aside, and each and every representative of the people should instead maintain a loyalty instead to those they are paid to represent. After all, they are literally supposed to be representing the majority of the people in their district, and not making choices based solely on party loyalty, individual (as in their own) interests and opinions, etc.

People, beware of nationalized healthcare. I have relatives in Europe and what they tell me makes me shudder. It is worse than a crappy HMO. It's like triage, and older people in particular don't get the necessary treatments in order to save money.
The old knee replacement of my 81 year old great aunt got infected recently. The GP gave her a transfer to the orthopedic department at the hospital. Guess what they told her there: Take aspirin and walk with a cane. Her only hope is to spend $$$ for treatment as a private patient. She may not have that kind of money.
I gladly pay my premiums and my deductible for the freedom to choose my own doctor. But see, I pay my insurance premium, I do not spend this money on a fancy car instead, or on a fancy vacation, or whatever else seems to be of major importance to some people.

I STILL HAVE MY LEG. They cut out 11 inches of my tibia and with our wonderful medical care I was able to grow back that bone and will have full use of my leg as soon as my foot heals. If I were in any other country, well, I'd be a 23 year old girl who lost her leg because she slide into second base while playing softball in college.
I thank God EVERYDAY that I was provided the medical care that I was. I don't even want to think about how I would've been treated if this happened under Obama's plan. I know that I would be without a leg. In fact, my ortho was bold enough to tell me that I would be without a leg.
Doctor's are without a doubt voicing their opinions about what is going to happen to our medical system, nurses are too. People saying that "they are medical professionals and would never do that" are complete FOOLS. They are human beings and they know how it is going to effect this country.

You can gather tons of information there (whether it's true or not is the question). Also, you can read up in different publications.
