Jacksons Request For Aerial Coverage Of MJ's Memorial To Be Pulled

The brother of Michael has spoken out on behalf of the Jackson family, stating that they're absolutely appalled at the lengths the media went to cover MJ's private burial on Thursday.
Specifically, the aerial footage!
Says Jackson:
As a family, we are all aware of how Michael’s life, and his death, touched so many around the world. It is why we held a public memorial in my brother’s honor. And it is the reason we chose to release a small amount of footage leading up to yesterday’s ceremony at Forest Lawn.
I was dismayed last night and again today at the coverage I saw on television of our ceremony for Michael. We had asked the media to respect the privacy and the sanctity of this event; to give us one moment of privacy to mourn as a family out of the public spotlight. Unfortunately, despite a no-fly zone around Forest Lawn, many media organizations decided to ignore our wishes. They employed helicopters that not only surreptitiously recorded our private family ceremony, but also severely disrupted it.
I therefore ask today that media organizations airing helicopter footage of the ceremony we held for my brother immediately pull that footage from their air and refrain from airing it in the future.
Do U think the media will obey the Jackson family's wishes???

They Jackson family had a public memorial for us fans.. was that not a enough? and they showed some of the funeral, maybe if they had showed them taking out the casket and carrying it to it's spot… then cut the video i think the media would have left it alone, but they cut off right at the main part! it's like watching a movie and then right in middle when it's about to get good they movie is cut off you know? idk i think people should just leave michael's family alone.

If you read anywhere, they had a giant camera hanging over the funeral audience to film for the upcoming MJ film. If they are so "dismayed" and offended that the photographs violate the "sanctity" of the funeral then why are they filming and including in their movie? Like always its Money Money Money with them. FYI, people, MJ's funeral is not being shown on A&E, it's the after party that will be shown. His parents WERE in attendance at his funeral — they were NOT at the after party. If you're going to say negative and disgusting things about the family, at least have the correct info!!!!

I agree that the media should sometimes take a step back and allow people to get through difficult situations like a death or divorce without intruding like they do and airing it to the entire world. However the Jacksons were the ones that announced the exact location of the funeral, times and dates. They have been in the business long enough to know better then this. And I believe if I'm not mistaken that they taped most of the service to be used in a tv special or the film coming out. I'm guessing they may just be mad that they couldn't sell the footage themselves.
Maybe Janet is the only one being guided and paid. Does no one else think it is strange that LaToya isnt involved? But then again, maybe she stayed away from the circus.

Where is this coming from?? All the news networks said that they could fly over but not closer than 3000 feet. The things we saw were zoomed from that height. You could still not see or hear anything and no one in the audience was looking up at the helicopters so how did they disrupt the service?? What is Randy talking about?? I think they are handling MJ's death very badly in terms of how they are demanding privacy while pimping themselves out (the brothers and LaToya I mean and Joe though he seems to have finally shut up now). I think they are playing a part. Obviously they want to make some cash off of MJ's death, we already know that, otherwise they wouldn't have sold coverage to A&E for a special. But, they have to make it look like they don't want it on tv, that way it will sell more because people think its taboo. So, Randy Jackson was picked this time to be the one to make it look like they really don't want all of this coverage and its an invasion of privacy. Next time I'm sure it will be another family member being the spokesperson.
