The song was produced by RedOne, the man behind Lady GaGa's biggest hits, Poker Face and Just Dance.
There's just one thing missing from the new Sugababes song - GaGa, of course!
About A Girl is good. But, like the new Cheryl Cole single, it's far from great.
Magic is hard to replicate and there's something about the Lady Miz G's chemistry with RedOne that makes their songs special.
This Sugababes single does not feel special!

P.S. We definitely prefer this song over Cheryl's - if we had to choose. We think About A Girl will be more of a grower with repeated listens.

If you want a nonGAGA Redone song–I'd go more for Backstreet's Straight Through My Heart. Perhaps that is because RedOne originally wrote most of his first songs FOR the Backstreet Boys-even if they didn't use them.

I love it!! I think it´s a very good song! I´ve been a fan of Sugababes since they started like 11 years ago!! I liked them more before because they were very original, their sound was original! Now, they sing dance and worse songs! Their songs in the 4 first albums were fantastic!! And Mutya Buena was the best of the band! I´ve got all their albums and all are great!
I think this is a fab song.
Unlike other bands, these girls work their arses off promoting their stuff. They also write their own stuff unlike Girls Aloud and sing amazingly live. They have also have gone through 2 band member changes and are still going strong after 7 albums!!
If this is not ur thing, fair enough, but there is no need to diss a great hardworking band that didn't come from a manufactured backgroung i.e. Popstars, Idol or X-factor.

There new album which is here 7th has some new producers and a new sound which is awesome! of course Gaga and Red One have chemistry. But Red One is a phenomenol producer who has made really good music with Kat Deluna, Sean Kingston, Tami Chynn and New Kids On the Block. I love Lady Gaga, but trust me she dont need Red One to make a hit! She is divine! This new sopng from Sugababes is a new anthme for the single ladies!

What a boring song. Forgettable, bland, clubby dance music. No hook, nothing interesting about it. Sugababes have lost it, using Lady Gaga's cast offs.. but I doubt Gaga would even touch this with a 10 ft pole.
Just average. But at least they aren't trying to be something they are not by sticking to the dance/pop type songs.
