If you live in Detroit, be sure to check out the skate party being held on Sept. 11 at Bonaventure Skating Center in Farmington Hills, hosted by Drew Barrymore.

In honor of her directorial debut film, Whip It, Drew is throwing a skate party/ red carpet premiere to celebrate at the skating center.

We’d line up early and don’t forget your skates!

She is really sweet. There are not very many child celebrities that overcome everything she went through, I can't imaging what it is like for a kid to deal with "fame". I so admire her. She is definitely a strong person to overcome all of that.
